Oda would begin to find himself restless after the meeting with his superior at least by rank, though in his eyes it would be more of a meeting between a man and a boy still exploring his dreams to which role either one played was still a mystery in his mind to say the least. However, it was behind him, and he would be doing some research on his clan and the branching members to see if he found anyone fit to entertain him… As time would fly by seemingly the stack of papers in his living space piling higher and higher he would find himself reaching the peak of his boredom with these unless people it would seem them all being the same in nature, loyal, outgoing, socially loved people of the Senju clan. Sometimes he would wonder why he was born into a clan of such nature with his personality and how he could have been seen fit to lead it, though in that mere moment, he would find himself checking one last file, and it would be the name of Mayou, Hanako…
“What do we have here? Is there another like myself?”
He would question the name rather that the content of the file for truly it was like him though he would soon find out that it was simply a woman that had inherited their genes and was a half Senju half Yota. Though this woman would strike his interest for truly she was of an equal nature to him at least on paper, it would seem. Her appearance wasn’t one to scoff at and her history one of rather interesting details. He would smirk as he would read on finding himself quite intrigued with the woman though she was older he would attempt to seek an audience with her. He would summon one of the lower ranking Senju members and would throw the file of a woman at him, and he would stand. His loose fitting robe was exposing his body the morning breeze blowing his low hanging hair in his face slightly for he had just gotten out of the bath before scrounging through the files. He would speak one sentence to the man before turning his attention to his closet and picking out his outfit for the meeting.
“Go find this woman and tell her to meet me in the jounin standby station.”
He would let his robe seemingly fall of his body as the Senju member would disappear from his presence taking the word to the woman he wouldn’t expect her to show but if she did it would be a rather eventful day he would hope. He would find himself wearing his usual attire. However, nothing special a loose fitting open white shirt with a tan colored loose fitting pants accompanied by black boots. It was a simple fashion style, but he liked it, it gave him a sense of freedom he felt he lost the day he was named the Senju's Head. Though that was his past and nothing truly special would come from thinking back upon it.
Therefore, he would find himself kissing his sleeping mother goodbye and leaving his home strolling slowly toward his destination. It would be a cool spring morning day the gentle breeze seemingly having a calming effect on a man his composer unlike normal lacking a sense of blood lust or anticipation for a fight or eventual interaction. It would be that nearly of his youth a simple expression of enjoyment seemingly the only thing able to calm him other than his mother is his love for spring and the plentiful breeze that came with it. As he would walk down the street, he would find himself stepping on cherry blossom after cherry blossom for it would seem that their season of beauty was coming to an end until the next spring would bring them back around. There would be a blissful essence surrounding the man at the moment allowing for the people that usually turn the other direction and focus on their own business to seek an audience with the young gentlemen as he would stroll the streets of Konohagakure no Sato. Though he wouldn’t have time to entertain all of them for hopefully someone that for once he seek an audience with would be awaiting him at the destined meeting place or a rather impactful meeting to unfold revealing something he had not yet known about himself…

Another day, another dollar. Hanako was relaxing in her small, leaky bathtub trying to relax. A few bubbles formed underneath the water's surface, travelling around her bare bottom as it sought for the surface, releasing a not so pleasant odor into the room. With a few scented candles laying near the tub, she only giggled at the bubbles bursting in front of her. "Where had those come from?" she joked to herself lifting up one of her legs and stretching. The feeling of the warm water dripping off her foot and the sensation of the cooler air against her wet skin was always a comfort.
Days like this she rarely got to have as of lately. Meetings were sprouting up all around her ever since her upheaval into the ANBU Black Ops. Sometimes she considered she would have been better off not putting in that application at all. All these meetings and training sessions she had to attend were taking its toll on her. For not wanting to deal with authority, this job had a lot to do with it. Seeing how the system worked from the inside also proved to be duller than she would have thought. Politics existed even with the ANBU Captain, having gotten a favor in with the past Hokage to get him there. The whole thing stunk but she always went anyways. The perks did more for her anyway, being ANBU got her several missions that unleashed her pent up anger.
But she didn't want to dwell on anything at all while in the tub. Submerging her head into the water, she tried to escape the world and her new responsibilities. However, the world chased after her, knocking on her door three times. The vibrations reached her, as her apartment was not well built and it was quite small even for a single tenant. Hanako poked her head back out of the water and listened for another round of knocks. If none came, she would just go back under -- three more knocks rang upon her wood door.
"Ugh, why today?" she complained to herself.
A third set of three knocks hit her door again as she tied herself up in a towel. "I'm coming!" Hanako hurried to the door, one hand finishing tucking in the last bit of her towel to keep it secure. She opened the door to a young boy, several years younger than her, with a taken aback look. He hadn't been expecting to see her like this. "Well, what is it?"
"I'm sorry," he said, turning his head to the side. After a small pause, the boy seemed to have remembered why he had originally came to Hanako's door as he quickly bowed nearly ninety degrees from his waist. "Lord Oda, head of the Senju, has humbly requested to meet with you this morning in the Jounin Standby Station."
Hanako had to take a few steps back when the boy had bowed, having jutted his head somewhat past her door and jutting into her apartment. The boy then lifted himself back to a standing position, turned, and abruptly headed off down to the stairs at the end of the hallway. Hanako was too surprised to have an answer for the boy. Once he had left, she slowly closed the door and rubbed at her damp hair.
The Head of the Senju wanted to meet with her? Why? Her mother had been the one in the clan, not her. She didn't see why it was that the Head would want to see her. Lord Oda. She toweled herself off and drained the bathtub. Her little plan to have the whole day to herself and the tub had gone out the doorway and down the hall with that boy. She got dressed and mumbled various things as she prepared herself for the meeting. "Probably some dumb meeting trying to beg me into their clan," she said and, "Probably shouldn't get involved in any clan business," while finishing off with a history lesson, "Plenty of people get killed over clans squabbling over shit."
In the end, she got herself dressed in her usual attire. Wearing a white corset, covered mostly up by a purple low-cut, sleeveless tunic that is tied around the waist by a bigger pink ribbon that tied up in a bow in the back, the two ends of the ribbon hung low at her calves. On top of the ribbon at her waist is a much smaller, red band that is tied in a bow at the front. She covered up her arms in tight black sleeves, with a purple and blue hand sleeve that fit around her thumb and ended just past her elbow. And then, to cover her long -- now clean -- slender legs, Hanako put on a pair of long black pants that fit nicely on her waist, not too loose or too tight around her knees and hips to provide plenty of movement. Her boots were black on the lower part that covers her foot and the shaft of her boots were a light purple that reached halfway up her calves, strapped down at the sides by three belts that she strapped down nice and snug. The heel cap and tips of her boots had a light purple color to them to complete the arrangement.
Having finished dressing herself up, she puffed out a bit of air in a self-complaint against having to dress up for something she wasn't even completely sure she should go through with. Talking to this Head Clan guy could only impose yet another authority over her. Something she was loathe to add into her already authority packed life. Yet she stepped outside and made her way to the Jounin Standby Station. She barely got through some of the bustling, morning people that only seemed to annoy Hanako further with all their pleasant little "hello's," "how are you's," and "good morning's." She arrived at the station and glanced over the area when suddenly reality had donned on her.
Hanako had no way of knowing what the man whom she was supposed to be meeting looked like.

As Oda would arrive at the standby station there wouldn’t be many people there at all it would seem that everyone was enjoying their mornings slumbering or doing whatever they would find to their fancy. He would let out a sigh as he scratched his head and would scan the room looking for a woman that he was supposed to meet he would doubt she would turn down the meeting but would rather be resentful toward being called out so early in the morning. As he would go over the room a second time, he would find himself looking at the woman he would be here to meet and would simple examine her for a moment before approaching her. It would seem she would fancy the Japanese culture look or at least that would be how it would seem from her clothing. He would look her up and down guessing she wasn’t an inch over five one being five two at the most. He would giggle this woman was supposed to be the one the file was over it was just slightly shocking for she was rather beautiful for what she was accused of, but that really didn’t matter at the moment.
Therefore, he would find himself slowly approaching the woman his shirt hanging just barely past the middle of his thigh his pants seemingly dragging in the back slightly as he would scratch his head. He would stop in front of the woman his hands now in his pockets as he would be about a meter away it would seem he would tower over the young woman having a foot of height to look down he would slightly sigh and then look down.
“Hey, there I must presume you are Hanako? If so it is nice to meet you, I am Oda Ryota.”
He would have a slight smile on his face hopefully the boy was at least able to tell her who she was supposed to meet for by the look of her hair it was still rather wet, and it would seem he had interrupted a rather relaxing morning for a woman. He would find himself laughing inside as a smile came across his face he would gesture toward a table so that they could sit down and not stand looking as though to in the middle of an argument or rather someone believing something of a rather indecent nature was taking place. So he would find himself sitting down before the woman for truly if her file represented herself than she wouldn’t want him to act like a charmer or anything but rather be straight forward and get what he wanted to say underway and not waste her time so he would find himself adapting slightly to fit this for truly he was the same way most of the time.
“If you are wondering why I called an audience with you don’t worry I am not asking you to come back to the clan or anything of that bullshit but rather found you of interest and was wondering if you wanted to spend a moment getting to know each other?”
He would be looking at the woman in her eyes if she found herself still standing than his head would be tilted up slight and if she were sitting they would be near the same height at this points so he would simply look forward tilting his head down only slightly. His hands now on the table in a relaxed nature not in any set position but rather there ready for anything that may transpire. He would find himself wondering what would be going through this woman’s mind her face as far as he was looking didn’t show any set emotion though she hadn’t responded to his questions either so it was a stalemate waiting for her to respond.

For an entire thirty minutes Hanako waited at the standby station, completely puzzled as to who she was to meet. Looking around, there were two shinobi sitting at a corner table, drinking and joking around about various things. A third jounin stood, leaning in a corner smoking a cigarette and looking out of a window at the village. None of them seemed a bit interested at the waiting Hanako. She took a spot in her own corner table and decided to wait. It was just her luck, showing up early at some clan head's beck and call. She did not like this already.
After just the first ten minutes of waiting, one of the two men that were drinking started to choke. The jounin that sat with him seemed to be dying laughing, thinking the choking was part of his friend's story. Seeing the man choke, Hanako only rolled her eyes and yelled at the friend. "Hey, idiot! Your friends dying!"
To which the man replied, still laughing, "Nah, this is just how he tells his stories, the man's a loon!"
After the man said that his choking friend collapsed on the floor, only making him laugh all the more harder. Hanako shook her head and got up from her seat. The only other jounin in the station just continued smoking his cigarette, watching the scene unfold. Being the only one to actually do anything, she made her way to the choking man, picked him up, and wrapped her arms around his stomach. Three heavy pumps of her fists into the man's abdomen and the projectile was launched from his mouth. Out shot the lemon that had been in his drink, landing off on the other side of the room.
Gasping for breath, the man managed a 'thank you' before Hanako promptly let go, dropping him back to the floor. Glaring at his friend, she made her way back to the table. "This is what happens when I show up early," Hanako muttered to herself. "People act like idiots."
Finally, the man that was to meet with her showed up. He was dressed formally, making him look like the man that was in control of a clan. Though he looked a bit younger than herself, which pegged the question on whether the man approaching her was really the one she was supposed to meet. His long, styled back red hair and confident walk suggested yes, but his youthful demeanor suggested otherwise. She started to wish she had known more about the Senju clan, but really there was nothing she could have done. The last contact she had with a Senju was when her mother's parents showed up at her mother's grave while she was there. At the time, Hanako was in her teens, and when the little girl that they had brought with them asked who she was, they only answered with, "That's the girl who killed your Aunt Yoko."
As soon as he introduced himself, she already felt uncomfortable. He had already known who she was, hell he had gotten a messenger to her apartment, and just now she had learned his name. And the name itself made her wonder, seeing as his last name wasn't Senju but Ryōta. As he sat down and explained himself to her, she only felt more uneasiness. He found her of interest? He wanted them to get to know each other?
"Uh, hold up." Hanako said, scooting herself away from Oda. "First off, how do you know so much about me? What, are you some kind of clan stalker? You're name isn't even Senju!" Her voice was raising as sharply as her eyebrows were narrowing. It all felt wrong to her, and she was getting ready to defend herself if she had to.
Why did I ever leave the tub?

Oda would simply look at the woman with a face of pure disgust as she called him a stalker it was rather annoying, and it would seem he would have to explain why his name was how it was. However, he would understand her reaction a strange new person asking to get to know you wasn’t the exact way most females wanted to spend their day. However, he would let out a sigh and be leant back in his chair slightly looking at the ceiling.
“Well, this is problematic I assume you would want to know about my past then…”
He would lift his foot pushing his weight toward the front edge of the seat so it would seam down back in place to where he was. He would find that it would be rather difficult to deal with this woman if he didn’t find the right “choice” words to appeal more to her friendly side if she truly had one. So he would ponder for a mere moment to how he would approach the situation and he would find this to be the most interesting…
“Well, as for why my name is different it is for the simple fact I am the last remaining pure blood Senju, therefore at birth to secure my survive my father had my name changed, and I don’t bother to introduce myself as Senju seeing as I have had the name for so long…”
Smile:
Oda would find himself smiling at the woman with his eyes closed, his smile making a unique to say the least attempt at seeming friendly. He would simply laugh however, and then would go back to looking at the woman his yellow eyes meeting her own once more. He would wonder if showing her an example of his element that only Senju blood can unlock would be enough to prove his name or so he would think. However, he would decide against this for this was rather amusing the woman’s reaction. Though a thought would brew in the back of his mind as to why this woman was so defensive, the messengers should have explained the situation though his age could also pose a problem in the matter…
“However, I know so much about you for you do have a public record, and you also have a Senju file I do have to read them all is my job.”
He would pause for a moment and then think upon his answers and would wonder what her next course of action would be hopefully not anything drastic for truly he was in a peaceful mood for once and didn’t want to view this woman like every other ninja of equal rank or higher for truly his bloodlust would flow to drastically with this woman, and it would be rather annoying to try and suppress it for the duration of their meeting. Though it was strange, she would seem on the defensive all her actions seeming to be flight or fight based yet she would entertain the man’s notion none the less. She was rather interesting to say the least in that aspect he would think. ‘Perhaps this meeting will be entertaining as well as peaceful.’ That thought would cross his mind as he would examine the situation finding it rather amusing to him. There wasn’t much else he could say however, so he would simply look at the woman awaiting a reply probably one of a loud nature or at least that is how it would seem from her earlier escalation in tone with him, so he awaited her none the less. The guy, Oda, seemed annoyed, thinking Hanako's remarks were just ridiculous given that he knew who he was. Still, she didn't know who he was at the time so it appeared he would let her comment pass. He sat back in his chair and looked up at the ceiling to which he then told her his little schpiel. This, however informative, only angered Hanako more. It was just like a typical Senju, pureblood and all, not wanting to speak directly to her. What? Was she so low on the family tree that the main trunk couldn't be bothered with having to explain itself?
When he came back down from his high horse to smile at her, she only had an irritated look on her face. Flat mouth, jaw slightly off alignment, and pushed down eyebrows with one twitching in annoyance. Hanako really doubted she would ever really want to get to know this guy. His first time telling someone his little story and he was upset? Isn't this getting to know one another? If he had expected her to just bust out and spill her life before him, he had another thing coming. And that thing was an annoyed stare. She was growing distaste for his star and teardrop tattoos on his face, or paint, or whatever they were.
And then he had the nerve to bring up her public record! Of course he would have the nerve, Hanako reminded herself, he was the Head Senju. The almighty tree-maker. His pompous act was just inflaming her violent side like holding raw meat outside of a tiger's cage. To say it was his job to go through all the files, files on all these other people with Senju blood! He sounded like he was heading a criminal organization, keeping track of all his agents and lackeys. And Hanako never recalled a point in which she wanted to be associated with the Senju. They had cast her out when her mother died. Just because this new little, red headed schmuck wanted to reel her back in didn't mean she was gonna just jump back into the family with open arms.
"Okay, so you're the Head of the Senju. Hooray for you. Still, I'd really appreciate it if you'd dropped that file on me. You said this wasn't about the Senju clan, so then erase me from it." She huffed, crossing one leg over the other as she sat and folding her arms. "Besides, I can't even make wood. You're files should've told you that much. All I can do is flowers."
Selling herself short wasn't her best trait, but she wasn't any good at boasting either. It just didn't make sense as to why she was called here. There was no ulterior 'join the Senju Clan' motive, or any other motive that she could see, and the way things were going it just seemed like even he wouldn't be the guy to bother with a girl like her. She was trouble, everyone said so. A dolled up guy like him wouldn't even be looking for older girls like herself. Hanako could only see him with other dolled up individuals, with pointed chins and wine glasses in their hands all laughing at the commonwealth. To him, she would just be a street urchin. Hanako had no money and no real home. She lived in her apartment because the Hokage that reigned when her father died had pity on her and purchased the apartment for the girl to live in. That was the last bit of charity Hanako had ever accepted, mainly because she didn't even know she had accepted it she was so little and oblivious at the time.
"So, why does the Head Senju want to speak with a bottom dweller like me?" Hanako finally asked, pointedly.

Oda would examine the woman as she would slightly go on a rant exposing her displeasure toward the Senju clan or those of any pureblood lineage it would seem. Her annoyed sour complex only making him enjoy the meeting even further, also the addition of her downing herself would almost put him over the edge into laughter. This woman was showing a distaste for the man that made his seemingly chase to find her food side even more worth getting out of the house this wonderful morning. However, he would let out a sigh and find himself looking at the woman with eyes of pure digest, not for that she was a supposed “bottom dweller” but it seemed he made one major mistake…
“You were never in it there is truly nothing to ease, and for the whole not being able to make wood I never really asked if you could or not.”
He would have still been wearing a weak smile however, behind this facade would be the face of pure disgust with the overestimation of her judge of character. He thought for once the woman would connect with him on the level of understanding his past and who he truly was not simply look at his name as the label of him. Though he did use it rather loosely it wasn’t for the perks but rather it simply drew the strong toward him and that truly was all he sought out, and that was purely for entertainment and the occasional challenge.
“Also why down yourself as if I care about your bloodline, truly I hate being the Senju's head but I felt the need to take it after events with my old man. As for why I wanted to meet well I already told you, you can choose to believe it or not.”
He would start to wonder if this woman were truly going to be as entertaining as he would find her to be on paper. He didn’t take into account human nature for having flaws and not seeing a good thing for what it was when their life was full of pain and strife. He among many people could speak first hand on this for truly everyone had a pain or tragedy in their life some larger than others however, and his burden seemed to follow him everywhere he went. Though perhaps he was taking the wrong approach with this woman and should treat her like a friend…. Like his mother to try and break past what seemed to be a facade of anger and violence. For truly as being one from this path he could tell someone who simply is angry at the world rather than truly enjoying violence.
“Truly what is the wood without the seeds? If not for the flowers what would this world be? If not for the glorious different plants what would this bland village look of?”
He would seem to be speaking in riddles as though to confuse the woman but truly he would simply want to know her answers. He would wonder if this woman would be like the rest claiming power to all mighty “Mokuton.” He could find himself drifting off into thought not truly even looking at the woman but looking through her seemingly trying to peer into her soul to find the hidden struggle that bond her to so much hate. He would wonder why her composer was that of a woman ready to strike him at the first sign of danger rather than explore this new found emotion placed on her. For truly was it fear, anger, or annoying? Or rather something much more simple yet seemingly complex… Confusion. He wouldn’t truly be of a pure blood nature but rather something far from it, his actions weren’t of disrespect but rather treating her truly as an equal for he didn’t care for his blood nor the privilege’s they held for him…
“If you wish to leave no one is binding you here, I am no more in control of you than your emotions.”
These would be the last words he would find himself speaking to the woman before he would stop waiting for her response. Truly they were going to be of an interesting most-likely defensive nature but he would wonder if just maybe this woman would see past his actions and simply reflect on his words. For truly what is a trickster if not a master of words? How could he feel to lead a clan if he couldn’t even simply form a simple friendship with the woman in front of him now? That wasn’t only a test to see if she would be a future amusement bur rather also a challenge to himself to see if he were even fit to boast the name at all. That would dictate if his name would finally be changed from Ryōta to Senju, this seemingly irrelevant woman would not yet understand her effect on his life but it would become rather apparent if this little encounter ever went past this first meeting. As the wind would blow, he would find himself snapping back into reality his eyes becoming seemingly full once more. His little philosophical rant would be over, and he would seem to try and go back to his old composer
However, for that mere moment while he was ranting his demeanor would change from the usual trickster and mysterious man to that of a well-collected wise individual. He would seemingly take form as his long dead father, and his fist would clinch in the memory of his father pass through his mind this woman would be doing something to the man that he wouldn’t quite understand yet. Though it would be something that would find itself unleashing yet another level of unseen potential for the man to overcome and take control of. He would find himself scanning the woman again then he would lean back in his chair seemingly taking a long exhale as he would relax as the spring breeze once again rolled through this time however, through an open window once more calming his rising nerves... Hanako was at a loss for words as Oda continued to explain himself. What he was saying just didn’t make sense to her. Why was he so interested in her? What about her was interesting? She hoped he wouldn’t be like all the others that have come to her for a conversation only to ask exactly how she killed her parents. Why the village thought it best to hush up the investigation files following her father’s death was beyond her, and it only created more problems for her.
”Well, you said I had a file so I would prefer if that would be removed. And if I find out there’s still a file on me later on, you’ll be hearing from me again.” Hanako put her arms down on the table with clenched fists and looked him dead in the eye. She was serious and wanted him to know it.
The feeling of being kept tabs on by someone other than the village elders made her skin crawl. She had already yelled at the elders several times, but what could she do with it being the system of the government. Besides, at least with the village she wasn’t the only one with a record. With Oda, this was a more exclusive group, to all who had the blood of Senju in their veins. She never asked for the Senju blood nor did she ask for her scum-filled life. And she definitely never asked for anyone to keep track of her. She could handle herself fine, thank you very much, and didn’t need to rely on anyone else to watch over her. All her life she’d been on her own anyways, no one had been more against her than her father, and look where she was now!
”Look, pal, I still don’t know where you get off thinking I’m so interesting and quite frankly, you’re getting on my nerves. Obviously I was right and this was a waste of my time.”
Hanako pulled herself up to stand, giving Oda one last glare before turning to leave. He hadn’t given her an explanation for why she was so interesting, so obviously he was still wanting to be shady. His poignant little smirk had gotten under her skin far too long for her liking so it was time to leave. Unless he said something, she was as good as gone.
Leaving him at the table with only one last reminder. ”And don’t forget to ditch my file!” she would say as she stormed off in a huff. Again, she scolded herself for ever having left the comfort of her bathtub. She had given up a peaceful morning for this smug, spoiled little boy.

Oda would slightly be caught off guard with her attitude toward him, and, however, this would only further his interest in a woman. He would find himself thinking for a moment as she would go on with her rant and little acting like a child though she was older she acted as though she was still a mere sixteen year old woman living in her past as if that would truly effect anything in her future or even the present day.
Therefore, when a woman would begin to slam her hand on the table and rattle on about why he found her interesting he would take this moment to explain himself and simply get it out in the air. He was getting rather annoyed with the roundabout he was going in and apparently it seemed she was at her limit as well. So without even hesitating before she would begin walking away he would throw her file on the table and look at her standing up as well still holding a calm demeanor so not to escalate the situation though he felt it would happen either way.
“I find you interesting for the simple fact you are the first person in many years to treat me not as a higher up but an equal. You didn’t simply see my last name as something to bow toward but rather to challenge.”
He would be speaking the truth for the first time in a while this woman seemed to the extension of his being that he felt fade away many years ago. He wouldn’t truly understand himself why this woman was being found so interesting but truly he didn’t dislike the feeling so he would simply go with it trying to understand what was happening with himself but he felt it was simple one of lives mysterious you aren’t meant to understand.
“Also, it doesn’t hurt that you are a rather attractive woman, and your skill set isn’t anything to simply laugh off either. So do what you must I am not binding you here I was for once simply enjoying being a hidden leaf villager for once in a long while.”
He truly did have no power to hold the woman there, and he wouldn’t even attempt to contain her anymore. If she felt such a strong desire to leave he would simply let her and continue with her business it would be rather amusing to chase this woman if she did chose that option and it wouldn’t be the last time they faced each other. For truly, in a village with seemingly falling numbers those of power will have to work together no matter what one’s personal affection level to the other may be so now he would simply await her reaction and action to base his own off of though he would hold a slight hoping glimmer in his eyes that she would simply relax with the man and for once not be ninja’s always on guard but rather simple people trying to enjoy peace…

OOC:
Sorry its so little, couldn't really come up with much this time around. :\
Her file came out onto the table as she stood up. The very sight of it in front of her seemed more like a challenge by Oda. What game was he trying to play? His words seemed so contradictory that the confusion only made her more angry. To add to the boiling point of her patience, he was admitting that she was bringing him down a level, or as she heard it, that he felt he had to lower himself to speak with her. Just another thing about these big ninja clans that Hanako detested. They carried themselves so high that talking to her makes them feel better? So, what? It’s not her job in life to make them feel better about themselves. If they weren’t smart enough to realize that their fancy clan name didn’t truly mean anything, then that was their problem. Not hers.
His words didn’t stop her from walking out. Hearing his compliments toward her only infuriated her more as the nice words came from someone like him. He didn’t make her feel any better, so she walked right out of the standby station, still saying what she intended to say.
