.oO(Doing 2 A-Rank missions in one thread.)
Creeping Creeper (A-Rank):
Masked Massacre (A-Rank):

For the first time in a very long time Miyuki was resting peacefully. Usually her mind was plagued with all manner of nightmares and horrific memories from her past when she was sleeping. Most nights were spent tossing and turning all night long as she slept restlessly or they were spent waking up repeatedly: sometimes she woke up screaming her lungs out while thinking she was back in her nightmarish past. That wasn’t the case this time; and in fact she seemed to be sleeping better knowing that there was someone nearby she trusted. Or, perhaps it was because for the first time in her life she had allowed someone to know exactly what had happened to her, and ‘telling’ her secret had seemed to lift some invisible burden off of her shoulders that she hadn’t been aware she was carrying. Perhaps even a combination of the two.

It would seem though, that while Miyuki was resting peacefully, those within the residential district were not. Someone, or rather two someone’s, were terrorizing the innocent civilians. Teenagers seemed to be the main target of this rampage, and yet anyone who got into the path of either one of these beings quickly became fair game. The civilians themselves stood no chance; their only hope was to run away and hope they put enough distance between themselves and the two creatures after them. Sometimes this method worked – mainly when another helpless victim stumbled in the killers path – but most of the time it didn’t.

The fear and confusion that was going on was slowly spreading across the village of Hanagakure like some kind of plague, reaching even the confines of the hotel. Out in the hallway people were rushing to and fro, attempting to find some safe place to hide in case the two killers reached them before the Hanagakure soldiers could stop them. The soldiers themselves were trying, but they were no march for these immortal-like beings who seemed to stop at nothing in their lust for blood and violence.

It was the noise from the hallway that woke her. Even in her bedroom with the door shut she could hear it: no one was bothering to keep their voices down or to keep quiet. Miyuki, who had fallen asleep in her day clothes simply because she had been too tired to change (a purple knee length sweater dress, black leggings, and even her black fur boots) looked over toward her clock as her eyelids fluttered open to see that it was about three o’clock in the morning: the middle of the night. Groggy, but waking up fairly quickly since she was getting the vibe that something was wrong, Miyuki wandered out of her bedroom while pushing her deep red colored hair out of her face. She opened the door, reached out, and snatched up the first person who she could grab – who of course screamed, startled, at the unexpected grab. ”What’s going on? Why is everyone panicking?” Had Miyuki been more awake than she was she would have realized that she could have just plucked the information out of this individuals brain, but she was still half asleep so this had seemed like the best method.

”There are two things murdering people in the residential area. The village police seem unable to stop them… Everyone is trying to find a safe place to hide, you should do the same: lock your doors.” Miyuki would release her hold at that point, and the civilian would run off clearly off to do exactly what he thought Miyuki should be doing. However, Miyuki herself wasn’t going to hide – she couldn’t just sit back in some safe place while innocent people were being slaughtered. ”Suna?” She didn’t intend on going alone: if these two individuals weren’t being taken down by the village police than chances were they were strong – stronger than even the bandits her and Suna had wiped out the other day – so she definitely wanted someone she could trust watching her back.

Sleep. It had been a long day. In nothing but his underwear, Suna was lying in the big comfortable bed, snoozing. His thoughts were of girls. He'd seen no sort of action since setting foot on this continent. Would this last forever? There was his new fine ass Boss Uno, but she was way older than he was, and had a daughter who looked to like him for healing her, and then there was Miyuki... Miyuki, who'd matured from a scared looking girl that he first met into a fearsome force when she wanted to be... But how did she feel about him? Was he only a friend and squad mate to her? She didn't even really give a reaction when he used his perv med jutsu on her...

Yet he dreamed of her and Uno both... He was starting to think that maybe they saw him as the freak that everyone else did, the freak who always hid his face and was a hardcore perverted loser... Until he was shaken out of his sleep when he heard his name called. He blinked several times and could hear what sounded like commotion. Suna sat up in his dark bedroom, touching several areas of his mangled face. The Legendary Gourd was next to his bed on the floor, glowing like usual. To be so late at night there sure was a lot of noise. Was there a party or something?

Suna got up and pulled on his mask, his rubber leggings, then his over-sized top. He started to leave his gourd behind, but decided better safe than sorry and put it on. Suna opened his bedroom door and walked out to where Miyuki was standing in the doorway to their suite with the door open. Through sleepy eyes he could see people running by.

"...The hell is goin on?" he asked through a groggy voice. "Don't people ever sleep in this place?... Too late to be playing in the halls kids, it's past yer friggin bedtimes..."

Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[ Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[   Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[ Icon_minitimeWed Nov 30, 2016 9:18 pm

Miyuki watched as people continued to run up and down the hallway; some were even carrying their luggage. She couldn’t imagine why anyone would be worried about bringing their things with them but some people never seemed to learn: getting themselves somewhere safe was far more important than securing their belongings, right?

Suna came out of his room with his gourd on his back, seeming to be as tired as she was: she had woken him up apparently and it made her feel a bit bad. But, this was a serious situation and she needed his help: she didn’t trust anyone else to have her back. ”There are two things, people I guess they could be called, but they’re scary strong from what I’m hearing and there’s something off about them, terrorizing the residential district. They’ve been murdering a lot of people and the Hanagakure police seem unable to handle them on their own… I want to go, but not alone. These two are way stronger than those bandits we took care of the other day. I figure we’re super heroes now… we can’t just let these people continue to suffer.”

If Suna was willing to help, which Miyuki didn’t really see him turning down a situation like this, Miyuki would make her way over toward the balcony doors. There was no point in trying to get through the crowd in the hallway – it would take too long given all of the chaos – so their best bet would be to use the balcony as a means to leave the hotel. Thankfully, with the ability to levitate, it didn’t really matter that they were several floors up. Before she opened the balcony doors she checked to make sure her pass card was still in her pocket, which it was: she adjusted the card, shoving it down deeper so that it didn’t accidentally fall out. After she was sure her card wouldn’t fall out during flying or fighting she opened up the balcony doors and stepped outside. She could hear screams and panic in the distance, and there even seemed to be smoke coming from one of the houses; it was billowing up into the air and blocking out a portion of the full moon that hung bright and pregnant in the sky. Down below in the streets she could see people hurrying this way or that: everyone seemed to have a different idea of where they thought was a good and safe place to hide. Miyuki couldn’t help but shake her head: if it wasn’t the bystander effect it was mass panic – there never seemed to be a good middle ground when it came to crowds and large groups.

”God, the way they scatter… they’re going to end up hurting themselves if they’re not careful. The village police can worry about crowd control I suppose; let’s go kick some butt.” Miyuki levitated into the air and off toward the direction the screams and smoke were coming from. Block after block sped by beneath her until she suddenly stopped: a large shape with bat like wings shot up into the air carrying with it someone; only instead of holding this person by their arms the creature seemed to be carrying them with its feet like a bird of prey would do. ”What the hell?!” Meanwhile, down below in the streets, a masked individual had just made his way out of one of the houses, following at a quick brisk walk after a bloodied teenager girl.

2 strong things in the residential district. They were murdering people, and even the police couldn't stop them. Well... this was no time to be emo. Suna shook off those thoughts for now; with all of the skills he'd learned up until now, he knew he couldn't just lie here and not do anything. Miyuki wanted to go deal with these things, but she didn't want to go alone. The first thing Suna did was put his sensory into play. There were many small fry down in the streets running away from 2 big chakras. One of them had wings and was airborne. The other one was on the ground.

"Why's it always at night when these freaks choose to attack, couldn't these jackholes do this in the morning?..." he mumbled, walking out onto the balcony with Miyuki. He put one of his feet up on the railing, looking at the madness below that was being caused by only 2 people. If they were to win here, then this would put them on the map for sure. Suna jumped off of the balcony soon after Miyuki did, spreading his arms a little to his sides as he started falling. His sleeves flapped around in the winds.

As they got closer, the guy in the air looked like some kind of monster, while the guy on the ground was wearing some kind of mask and jumpsuit while wielding a big knife. This made Suna frown. This guy was giving mask wearers a bad rep, and if he was going to be here, then he'd have to protect that rep and deal with this guy. "The guy on the ground is mine!" Suna said to Miyuki, beginning to push himself faster. "Hollar if you need me!"

The masked guy on the ground was after a blonde girl. She tripped and fell, allowing the masked man to catch up to her as she was screaming, saying no and don't kill me over and over. Suna sped down the street, twisting his body around at the last minute to send a kick into his face. It slammed home, whipping up dust from the ground from his velocity. The masked man slid backwards somewhat, and Suna frowned, as it felt like he'd kicked a wall. Suna did another spin to send another kick towards his left shoulder. It too slammed home, making him couch some, but he simply stood upright again, looking towards Suna strangely.

Then that knife came. It was fast, so fat that it triggered his reflex time sight. His sand shield wouldn't be fast enough to block, he could see this. It started to form, but he was already past it's perimeter. The knife entered his "Area" and his senses were yelling at him to either block or dodge. Suna went into a barrel roll. The knife just barely grazed the tip of the filter on his gas mask, cutting off some of his red hair. "Fast--!!"

A long tube of sand came out of the gourd, resembling a whip, with a round edge on the end of it. As he barrel rolled, the whip slammed into the bottom of the masked man's chin, making him go flying backwards while keeping a grip on the blonde girl's hair. Some of her hair was ripped out as he went flying. Suna finished twirling and landed on his left foot, catching his balance and settling on both feet. "Hey, are you alright? You hurt anywhere?" Suna asked the girl.

"Owwhh..." she said, rubbing her head where the hair had been ripped out. "N-no... not really..." The masked man landed and stood right back up, looking unfazed.

"Alright then, get out of here, i'll handle this dude," Suna said, turning to face him again.

"Okay... good luck," said the blonde, and she stood to resume running with everyone else. The masked man came walking towards Suna, and Suna went walking towards him...

Suna wanted to handle the knife wielding masked maniac on the ground who was chasing after some blond girl, that left the creature with the bat like wings and a face only a mother could love to her. Given that the creature was in the air she darted off after him; he still had a hold on some helpless victim with his strange feet – they really reminded her of a eagles or some other bird with talon like feet. ”Hey bird man! Why don’t you put that guy down before I hurt you?!” Miyuki called, loudly, after him.

The ‘bird man’ in question turned sharply – his flying skills were way up there, apparently he had been doing this for a while – and stared at Miyuki: the look in his eye said he was sizing her up as if he planned on making her his next meal. A sideways grin spread across the bird man’s face, showing razor sharp pointed teeth: like those of a shark. Miyuki, even though she felt a sliver of fear shoot up her spine, didn’t allow it to be shown on her face. However, it seemed that this creature knew of her fear regardless as his grin only grew larger and scarier looking. Suddenly, the bird man released his hold on the man he had been clutching onto, allowing him to plummet straight toward the earth while the man screamed in terror. Miyuki dived after the falling man, feeling a drain of chakra kick in as she began to properly fly instead of levitate, meanwhile the bird man dived toward her.

As if in a graceful sort of air ballet Miyuki rolled in the air to the left, just managing to avoid the bird man who had swooped down toward her. The bird man shot off past her and headed higher into the sky, doing a rough turn so that he could watch as Miyuki caught the man only about fifteen feet from the ground. The man was still screaming, but Miyuki had no time to try and console him. Instead, she headed toward the ground, releasing the man when he was about a foot from it so that he’d land safely enough.

As Miyuki glanced backward she could see the bird man had gone into a dive again, only his target wasn’t the guy on the ground, but rather Miyuki herself. He followed after her and Miyuki could tell he was far faster than her – at least like this. She was going to have to pull out one of her aces in the hole: Sage Mode. Her chakra surged as she called upon it, her entire being giving off a burst of wind as her Sage Mode activated: instantly raising her to max speed (SS-3). The bird man, who had almost caught up to her by then, went to grab her only for Miyuki to suddenly dart off far faster than she had been moving before. Shocked and stunned the bird man headed straight toward the nearby building, almost running into it but managing to dart straight upward at the last second. Curiously, as the bird man came to a stop again, he sniffed in Miyuki’s direction; the breath sounding rasping and strange to her ears.

Miyuki, thinking quickly on how to defeat this creature, pulled the giant iron fan off of her back and opened it. The creature dived at her once more and Miyuki remained exactly where she was at. At the last moment, before the creature would have impacted her or grabbed her up, Miyuki turned in the air with the fan held, building up wind momentum. As she came full circle she allowed the wind to be released which sent the bird man falling directly toward the ground after disrupting his flight. Thinking quickly Miyuki sped after him, easily catching up and then passing him despite his momentum toward the earth. After making a logical deduction of where he was going to land she closed her fan and shoved it straight into the earth so that it was standing straight up. The bird man impacted only mere seconds later, back first, snapping his spine in half.

The creature, however, didn’t die. It gave out a raspy breath, reaching down in an attempt to grab its legs. Miyuki, not wanting the thing to have access to her fan, kicked it off and then grabbed her fan up, taking several steps back and watching as – despite having had its spine snapped – the thing attempted to move and get up. ”What the hell are you…?”

Some people stopped to watch, seeing as many were running away, and instead, Suna was moving toward the threat. Suna decided that he would try to end this quickly, without having to expend too much chakra, and also without showing off too many of his moves. Suna put into play something he was taught by Kurai Yanagi called "Swift Release." It took no hand signals or anything of the sort; it was something triggered simply by thought. Dust clouds rose around him, and then he seemed to simply vanish.

The masked man began to be bombarded by blows from all sides it a fashion that made it seem that he was being attacked by multiple people, when it was only Suna. A tremendous wind was whipped up in the area from Suna's super fast movement. Punches and kicks came from everywhere, impacting the jaw and the mid-section. In the end, the masked man was knocked airborne, but someone was in the air with him. He was swung in a circle man times and sent back towards the ground, impacting hard and leaving behind a crater, and a dust cloud.

Suna came sliding to a stop, attempting to catch his breath. People were standing around clapping, applauding not only him but Miyuki, who looked to have handled that other guy with the wings. From the looks of things, she'd broken his back, but he was still trying to get up. Suna's lungs felt like they were on fire. He felt like he was breathing smoke. The clapping suddenly stopped and the scared wails and moans started again. Suna looked up from his crouch, holding his hands on his thighs as he tried catching his breath, to see the masked man sitting up again.

"...Man, what is this guy made of?...." he mumbled, standing up and preparing for battle again...

Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[ Empty
PostSubject: Re: Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[   Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[ Icon_minitimeThu Dec 01, 2016 6:09 pm

Miyuki glanced over in the direction of Suna: apparently the masked individual whose ass he had just given a seriously fast whooping to was already sitting back up. It seemed like neither of their opponents were willing to die or give up so easily. Miyuki’s own opponent, whom she quickly turned her attention back onto, was still attempting to move though he was struggling with it: a broken spine was a hell of an injury for an average person and it seemed like it was for this bird man creature too. The creature’s raspy breath was growing more frantic as he kept trying to reach his legs: did he think he’d be able to fix himself if he could get to them? Could he fix himself if he was able to straighten himself back out the right way?

Miyuki didn’t want to find out. She knew the longer she held Sage Mode while having not prepared herself beforehand the longer she’d suffer for it afterward. It seemed like her best bet was to finish this here and now. But how? What was the one sure fired way to kill this bird man? What killed anything regardless of what it was? The answer to that question came to her fairly quickly….

Miyuki moved over to the creature, her fan held between both hands so that it was vertical. The creature reached toward her but she managed to avoid being grabbed as she lifted her fan as high over her head as possible. Gathering up all of her strength she sent the iron fan down onto the creatures head: not just once, but three times. Each time seemed to cause more damage, and by the third time his head could no longer be distinguished as such: everything from his lower jaw and up looked like a kind of mush of blood, brain matter, and bone.

Miyuki was breathing hard, feeling sweat beading at her hairline of her forehead and the back of her neck. She took a step back, her bloodied fan dripping the remains of bird mans head in several different spots before she slammed one of the ends into the ground so that it was standing upright. Miyuki deactivated Sage Mode and suddenly found herself feeling drained and tired: her legs feeling like they wanted to give out. To keep herself from falling she leaned against her fan with a soft grunt while she looked over toward Suna to see if his opponent was dead as well. It was also at that point that she noticed people were actually standing around and watching as if it were some kind of show. Miyuki and Suna were sure to be known around town after this, that much was for sure. At least they’d be heroes instead of villains.

Chaos in the Residential District [A-Rank Mission x2][Suna, or Invite[ Empty

The masked man got up like nothing had happened to him. He stepped out of the crater, picking up that big butcher knife again. Suna was still somewhat sleep; he wasn't using his head. Usually he would just squash his opponents with sand, but for some reason he was wanting to go toe-to-toe with this guy, except his attacks didn't seem to be doing any damage.

Miyuki slammed her fan down on the winged thing's head several times and finished him off. The cork to Suna's and gourd came off, and the brown musty substance spilled fourth. Suna caused a large wave of it to go speeding towards the masked man, but with that knife of his he just sliced through it several dozen times, rendering the attack useless. Then, like lightning he was upon Suna, swinging. Suna was just barely able to dodge each swing of that knife, loud "WOOSH" sounds with each swing, powerful enough to do him grave harm were he to hit. Suna's sand shield wasn't fast enough to raise to block.

Then it seemed like Suna was gouged in the gut. He went flying backwards like a comet to land and roll several times, coming to a stop on one knee. Some of the spectators began to fear the worst; had the little guy actually been gutted? Many told him to hang in there and asked if he was alright. Slowly standing up, Suna showed that he hadn't been gutted, but his final line of defense had been breached: his sand armor. It was cracking and falling off of him like a second skin.

"...Gonna need all of you to get out of here..." Suna said, sounding winded. '...You all can't be around for this next trick, you might get hurt.... GO! Get away from here!..."

The people watching began to run away. Suna pulled up his sleeves as the masked man again began walking towards him. "Alright then... I didn't wanna have to use this, but you're leaving me no choice..." Suna brought his arms to his right side, his palms open. Blue chakras began to visibly gather into an orb between the palms. The ground also began to quake, more violently the bigger the orb became. Dirt and dust cycloned harshly around Suna's small form.

The masked man rushed in at Suna again, just to collide with the orb when Suna threw his arms forward. The orb was launched at him in an upward arc, so that when it hit, the masked man was launched upward into the sky. Suna wasn't done though; this first attack was just the warm-up. Suna brought his arms back again to charge the real attack, which caused everything around him to be thrown into chaos because of the forces involved. Thus why he told everyone to run. The ground quaked terribly, causing windows to shatter and small structures to collapse.

Suna pointed the actual attack towards the airborne masked man and fired it. The second attack collided with the first and created a tremendous explosion in the sky that caused it to light up and resemble daytime. This would last long moments. The chaos around him came back to a calm, and he could hear many villagers in commotion over what just happened.

Suna put his arms down from firing his ultimate attack. Nothing rained down from above except the man's mask, so it was safe to say that he'd been obliterated. Suna, totally drained, fell forward and landed on his chest and face, struggling to catch his breath. As time passed, the drained feeling only became worse, and it would be a while before he recovered, but it was worth it to get rid of a freak like that, quite possibly the toughest foe he'd ever faced.

Suna wanted everyone to get back: whatever he was about to do was going to be big and he didn’t want anyone getting caught up in the aftermath. Miyuki, who was already a fairly decent distance away pulled her fan from the ground, tucked it horizontally underneath of her left arm, and then moved herself back, too. She had no idea what Suna planned on doing but she assumed it was definitely going to be deadly. Her own foe was gone now, no longer moving or breath, or showing any sign of life. His however didn’t seem to know when to give up.

The attack that Suna used was one she had never saw before and seemed to be in two portions: a first attack and then a far more violent second one. The second one seemed to have completely destroyed the masked individual as only his mask came falling back down to the ground while none of the rest of him did. This would have amused and shocked and awed Miyuki had it not been for Suna then falling face and chest first onto the ground.

”Suna!” Miyuki rushed over immediately, ignoring her own dizzy sensation that was now almost completely gone. When Miyuki reached Suna she would shove her fan into the ground vertically nearby once more before kneeling down next to him. If he didn’t already roll himself over Miyuki would reach over and after gently taking hold of his shoulder roll him so that he was on his back instead of on his face and chest; positioning herself so that his head would be resting on her lap. ”Are you alright?” She was concerned, and her voice would easily show it. Miyuki had worried she had pushed her own self too far by entering into Sage Mode but it seemed as if Suna might have done worse to himself with the attack he had used to obliterate his opponent. Gently she would run her fingers through his hair; not even really realizing she was doing it as she waited for some kind of response.

Well, there's another technique not to use again unless his or someone else's life is on the line. If he was fully awake and his head was on straight, Suna knew he probably wouldn't have used that. As he lie there between being awake and unconscious, he could feel someone turning him over. A female voice asked if he was alright, sounding like she was far away. A hand was in his red hair, and the back of his head was in someone's lap.

Even near passing out Suna couldn't help but attempt to crack a joke. "Yes... yes, now for the conditioner and shampoo... I think I have... some split ends as well... and girrrrrl, did you see the dress Kasumi was wearing this morning?... The cheeks were hanging out the back and evera-thang! Do you know there's a rumor going around that she gives it up on the first date? Her skanky ass, let me tell you..."

Eventually Suna would gather enough energy to gather his bearings and sit up. As he would attempt to stand, his sand gathered together and formed his Legendary Gourd on his back. Suna could see many people standing around applauding Miyuki and him, but Suna was never really one for praise.

"Did you see that? That girl took out that flying thing easy!"

"She did that?"

"Yeah, it was amazing!"

"The little guy shot light from his hands and blew up the other one with the knife!"

"It was the little guy who did that? That was incredible!"

Suna stood, wobbling back and fourth a while. "Whew!... Holeman never warned me about using that... I think i'll just use the small versions from now on, that takes a lot out of me!..." he said, his sleeves dropping back down to conceal his arms. "At least that's over with now, though..."

Even in what seemed like an exhausted or drained condition Suna still attempted to crack a joke which had Miyuki grinning and shaking her head a bit. She took it as a sign that he would be alright and sure enough he sat up not long afterward. As Suna gathered himself and his sand returned to the strange gourd Kinzoku had given him, people standing around began to speak on what Miyuki and him had just done: sounding shocked but quite happy that the two maniacs who had been attempting to kill everyone were gone.

Suna then got to his feet and Miyuki did the same, mentioning how he’d been unaware how much the version of the move he had just used was going to wipe him out: he’d stick to the smaller versions of the move from now on. Miyuki would wait until Suna was steady on his feet before nodding her head in the direction of the administrative building. ”We should go tell Commander Uno what happened here and let her know everything’s alright now...” After pulling her fan out of the ground she glanced at the blood and brain matter at the bottom, wrinkling her nose a bit: she’d have to clean ti when she got home but for now she’d just have to deal with it. She strapped it once more on her back and then she’d look to Suna; waiting to see if he’d follow her or if he just wanted to head back to the suite and go to sleep.

Either way she would make her way toward the administrative building; unaware for the time being that they’d both be getting paid handsomely for it…
