Mission Taken – Clearing the Path (B Rank):

Getting into the mission area was as simple as flashing her new ID card thanks to Commander Uno: no one even gave it so much as a second glance once they saw her signature. To make matters all the more better there seemed to be no restriction on the type of job that her and Suna wanted to take according to what the man seated at the desk with a clipboard had said: in Morigakure she had been unable to take anything higher than a C-Rank while she was a Genin, and she hadn’t really done any missions as a Chuunin considering that had been around the time they had moved to Sabakugakure. Given all of the training and traveling she had done, as well as the time spent coming out of her shell, she hadn’t really done any missions in Sabakugakure to really have to deal with that limit. But here? Suna and her were more than welcome to take on any task they were capable of handling regardless of rank. It was definitely a nice change.

Of course, Miyuki didn’t want to start off with anything too over the top. She had yet to really test her powers, and while the knowledge was there she wanted to get comfortable with her abilities by actually using them before she did anything that was too dangerous. So, she decided to stick with a B-Rank assignment. The scroll that the man sitting at the desk had handed to her contained a rather interesting B-rank job: her and Suna were to clear the way for an escort team who would be leading a group of merchants through later on. The task was simple enough: eliminate any possible threat along the way and make sure that there would be nothing remaining to bother the escort team. Miyuki figured it was good enough; perhaps they’d even run into something that would put up a challenge?

However, as she went to turn away and give the mission scroll to Suna so he could look it over (assuming he had followed her of course) she heard, ”Be on your guard. There have been sightings of a group of bandits along that path you’ll be taking. They’re not overly strong, but they’re fairly good in a group. The leader’s a real pervert I’ve been told: likes young girls like yourself. Don’t want to see anything happen to you, so make sure you watch your back, alright?” Without really meaning to Miyuki listened to the elderly mission giver’s thoughts: his words were true, and his intentions pure – he truly was a bit worried about a female such as herself taking on a task like this. From what she was gathering the leader of this group of bandits had attacked females before, and probably would do it again too.

”No worries. I’ll be careful Mister Yin!”, Miyuki responded, realizing a bit too late that he hadn’t given her his name willingly. The man looked startled, and Miyuki simply hurried – or rather levitated – out of the room before he could ask too many questions. She wasn’t feeling too concerned with the dangerous aspect of the mission: she wouldn’t be doing it alone after all and while she was new to these powers Suna wasn’t: she trusted him to have her back the same as she would have his. If Suna hadn’t taken the mission scroll before now Miyuki would hand it over and then fold her arms lightly across her chest, giving him the chance to read it as she floated there silently: the thought momentarily crossing her mind that levitating was again a lot easier of a way to travel with the giant iron fan she was carrying on her back.

The mission area.

Suna would have to get used to this place. He planned on coming here a lot. The same as Miyuki, he showed his ID card and was immediately let in with her. He was used to the strange stares, but now there were even more because of the big black glowing thing on his back. The cool thing about this place was that they could take whatever mission they thought that they could handle, where as back home they would have to take missions based on their rank.

With this new gourd which seemed to have a life all it's own, Suna felt like he could take on anything. Miyuki took a scroll and looked it over, then handed to him so that he could have a look next. The mission: clear the roadway from this village to the next so that merchants could travel from here to there safely. Suna was expecting wild animals and maybe man-eating beasts, but the old man behind the desk said otherwise.  A group of bandits. One on one they'd be nothing, but in a group they were supposedly pretty good. Strength in numbers; typical of weaklings. He said the leader was a pervert with a thing for young girls.

"An even bigger pervert than me?" Suna asked out loud, making many heads in the room spin towards him. A sleeved hand scratches the top of his head. "...I mean, Miyuki has me watching her back, and i'm a super hero. No need to worry over it old man, these morons will get dealt with." Miyuki seemed to know the old man's name, but he looked surprised. Maybe she was using some of her newfound skills.

Suna put the scroll down and followed Miyuki out of the room, floating just the same as she was.

Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission]   Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Icon_minitimeMon Nov 28, 2016 9:13 pm

From the mission board and out of the administrative building Miyuki made her way floating, having already memorized the path they were to patrol before having handed the mission scroll over to Suna. It was a fairly straight path, and fairly direct to the next stop: she could definitely tell why the merchants would want to use it since it would get them to their next destination in the least amount of time compared to the other routes they could possibly take. In Miyuki’s opinion it wasn’t a wise choice to bring more attention to oneself simply to get there faster, but to the merchants time was likely money and they didn’t like to waste it. It was precisely why people like bandits could make their living so easily by robbing them: they were predictable. Oh well, her and Suna were getting paid for this so she wasn’t going to complain. Instead, she kept going along the path through Hanagakure that would lead them to their starting point.

”I’m going to have to be more careful about plucking things out of peoples heads like how I did with that poor old man’s name… I think I almost gave him a heart attack back there because I scared him so badly.” Miyuki would comment as they reached the beginning of the trail: there wasn’t anyone around she would have to worry about eavesdropping on their conversation thankfully so she felt she could talk more freely now. ”This is more powerful than my telepathy… I did it without even really realizing I was...”, she added thoughtfully. It was definitely interesting, and she was by no means complaining: she would simply just have to adjust herself a bit better in the future. ”The same thing used to happen with my clan’s telepathy when I was younger: I’d pluck random things out of peoples heads. Happened a lot when I was in busy markets… always strange things too.”

Carefully but at a relatively decent pace Miyuki began to make her way down the trail the merchants would be escorted through tomorrow. She kept her ears peeled for any odd sounds that didn’t seem to belong, or anyone that happened to look a bit shady. They weren’t exactly alone – a few people were using the same path today as they came and went from the village for various purposes, some whom stopped to stare – but it was a lot less busier than she had thought it to be. She found herself wondering with a thoughtful frown if it had something to do with the presence of the bandits the old man had mentioned back at the mission board.

Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission]   Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Icon_minitimeTue Nov 29, 2016 9:37 am

Suna was itching to test out this new gourd. He'd always thought it was cool when he met Kinzoku, and wondered where he got it from. But why had he sent it here, to him? Well, some questions were better left unanswered.

It looked like Miyuki was getting the hang of floating, though he wouldn't mind carrying her too. Kinda disheartening that he probably wouldn't be able to anymore, but at least he was able to help her out, and get closer to her while he was at it. Villagers and pedestrians stared strangely at the duo as they made their way through the large city-like village towards the path the merchants would take.

Outside of the village, Suna could see that the path was pretty much a straight line as far as his eye could see. Maybe it was like this all the way to the next stop; twists and turns tended to get one lost, especially in a foreign country. Then again, he could just teleport back here if he lost his way, and so could Miyuk. She commented on how she looked in that old guy's head to find out his name with hardly any effort. "Yeah, you might wanna be reeeeeal careful with that," Suna replied. "Looking in someone's head that hasn't had any kinda training or anything is too easy. You don't wanna stumble into the memory of somebody taking a dump or something. I found out the hard way..."

There was a little bit of foot traffic out here in the wilds, but nothing compared to the traffic jams back in Hana. The further they went, the more alone they became. Suna kept his sensory open for anything out of the ordinary...

Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission]   Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Icon_minitimeTue Nov 29, 2016 11:23 am

At Suna’s comment about accidentally stumbling upon the memory of someone taking a dump she wrinkled her nose a bit; yeah, she would definitely have to be more careful. She didn’t want to stumble across something she shouldn’t have seen in the first place: something she wouldn’t be able to get back out of her head. She would have to make sure she didn’t accidentally go protruding into the minds of anyone else.

The further along the path they went the less people seemed to be around; in fact Suna and her were seeming like they were all alone now. However, she knew that likely wasn’t the case: somewhere lurked those bandits with the perverted leader, waiting to strike. As Miyuki continued on it wouldn’t be long before a sound off to the left reached her ears: it sounded like a feminine squeal followed by a ”Dont touch me!”

”Now come on sweetheart… Don’t be like that. We can all have a good time.”

”No! Don’t touch me! You’re gross!”

”Bingo...”, Miyuki commented, switching to telepathy as to not give away the fact that they were nearby – at least not yet. From the sounds of things they had come across some female and were trying to have their way with her. ”Why don’t you go that way and I’ll go this way… we’ll surprise ‘em.”, she commented thoughtfully: it sounded like a good idea to surround them before striking – Miyuki had little intentions of allowing whatever situation was going on to become worse for the female involved.

Were Suna to show no issues with this plan Miyuki would take off towards the left, following the muffled conversation she could just barely hear now that the squealing had quieted down. She kept herself levitating, figuring it would make far less noise than were she to walk along the ground. She didn’t have to go far before she came upon the bandits and the female they had likely just recently snatched off of the path. Just as she thought the girl looked terrified and kept looking back in the direction of the path as if she wanted to make a run for it. ”Now now… why don’t you be friendly, huh? This is much more interesting then robbing some merchants, wouldn’t you say so boys? Come on, girlie, we just want to have some fun...” the leader crooned as he reached up to stroke the girls face.

”I Don’t. Think. So.” Her telepathic voice would fill the clearing as Miyuki made her move, causing one of the bandits to even scream like a girl and hold his head: her first concern was getting the female away from the men in the clearing so that she wasn’t harmed so that’s exactly what she was going to do. As Miyuki focused on the girl she found that, since she was a ‘friendly’, it wasn’t hard to lift her quickly but gently into the air through : making her rise up high above the heads of the bandits and out of their reach through the means of telekinesis. To the woman she would send her a quick telepathic message of, ”Don’t worry, you’re safe now. I’ll set you back down as soon as the bandits are dealt with and you can be on your way.”, that wouldn’t be able to be heard by the bandits – though Miyuki figured Suna likely could.

”Now now… why don’t you be friendly, huh? This is much more interesting then robbing some merchants, wouldn’t you say so boys? Come on, girlie, we just want to have some fun...”

"Ok, but it's my first time. Please be gentle!"

Something was going on up ahead. Miyuki informed him telepathicly of her intentions to take them by surprise. While she went her way, he went his. there were 4 guys and a female. The girl was someone who'd been out on the road alone. Dumb move. the 4 guys were Lee, Goro, Kenji and Shuji. All of them were scumbags; world class turds. they robbed, they stole, they raped.

So, after Miyuki lifted the girl out of harm's way, a strange boy with a gas mask and a top too big for him went speeding in like a bullet, directing a kick towards the bottom of Goro's chin. The heel met this chin, knocking teeth from the jaw and causing him to go flying upwards. Lee noticed this  and although he had a sword, went to swing  towards Suna, but was blocked by a sudden wall of sand.

"So you're the pervert, huh? You're already proving to be a bad one. I could do this alone, and she'd want it!"

Lee started to say something until an arm of sand appeared with a fist on the end of it, slamming itself into Lee's mid-section. The wind was knocked from his lungs and he went flying backwards, rolling twice. By this point Goro had landed, hard, and lie there twitching after a loud girlish yelp. "You guys gonna put up a fight? Got any special moves you're gonna whip out? Or is it hamburger time? Cause I think it's hamburger time...."

PostSubject: Re: Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission]   Psychics and Bandits [Suna, or Invite][Mission] Icon_minitimeTue Nov 29, 2016 1:37 pm

Miyuki watched from her vantage point as Suna came speeding into the clearing, landing his first attack right away by kicking one of the moronic bandits in the chin. A few teeth went flying out of Goro’s mouth and Goro himself went flying up into the air from the sheer force. Lee noticed this and attempted to attack Suna only to be blocked by his sand. With the goons and their leader momentarily distracted Miyuki took the time to carefully place the female in a tree on a sturdy branch high enough up where she couldn’t be reached; while Miyuki could likely multi-task fairly easy at this point she didn’t want to risk losing focus on the female while fighting and her hitting the ground from too high up. ”Sit. Don’t move, and hold on to the tree branch. I’ll get you down when this is over – I don’t want you in harms way.” Miyuki telepathically told the female who nodded: at least she was keeping her head instead of freaking out.

Miyuki knew she didn’t have to worry about the female freaking out so instead she turned her attention back onto the fight at hand. Suna was handling the leader and another goon himself so she focused her attention on the remaining two. ”So, y’all like little girls huh? Maybe this little girl should kick your butts!”

“You’re going to kick my butt? Are you kidding me! Come here you little bitch!” Shuji, as she mentally picked up from him as his name, lunged toward her only she darted out of the way. ”You’re going to have to try harder than that… !”, she commented, blatantly teasing Shuji. Meanwhile, his buddy Kenji, circled around behind Miyuki, thinking it was a wise idea to try and grab her. No sooner did his hands get within a foot of her than they were suddenly… gone. Blood spray, small chunks of bone matter and flesh, filled the air like a fine mist coating not only the ground and Kenji but also the giant iron fan on her back. ”Now now… you shouldn’t have done that… I don’t think think two on one is very fair.”, she commented as Kenji, the initial shock of what just happened wearing off, began to scream his lungs out as he fell to his knees staring at the stumps where his hands used to be: passive wind shield for the win apparently.

Shuji, however, didn’t seem deterred. “You stupid fucking bitch! How dare you do that to my friend!” Seeming to think it wise not to get close to her as Kenji had Shuji picked up instead a rather large tree branch laying nearby that he decided to chuck in Miyuki’s general direction. Instead of moving she simply allowed it to phase right through her; avoiding it all together. Shuji swore and Miyuki laughed; though this was by no means an ordinary laugh but rather the trigger for a Kamizuki clan jutsu – Laughing Man. Shuji, whose mind was far weaker, fell under the affects quicker than perhaps a shinobi – dropping to his knees and holding his head as he screamed out, “STOP! MAKE IT STOP… STOP!!!”

Lee gathered himself and pulled out his sword. he started to look pissed while fighting to catch his breath after having it forcefully ejected from his lungs. "I don't know who you are... but you'll be wishing you never came this way in a few seconds..." he said, taking a stance.

"Really now, seems like you're on the way to becoming a bonafide villain then," was Suna's response while sand began to gather in the shape of a sword near his right hand. "I bet you're gonna spit out one of those crappy villain lines next, aren't ya?"

Lee looked frustrated. "You're only postponing the inevitable!"

"See, see! I knew it! There it is! Classic bad guy line!" Lee wiped his eyes for some reason and rushed towards Suna while growling. By then, the sand had formed into glass and formed into a hard sword. Suna began to sword fight with Lee, countering all of his swings. He noticed that Miyuki was busy with the other two, and one had his hands removed by trying to grab her; the wind shield that Avery taught her. The female was safely out of the way, up in a tree.

Goro tried to attack from behind. A large hand of sand grabbed him, covering his whole body except for his head. Suna cut Lee's right arm off at the elbow. As he began to scream, Suna swung again, shattering the sword on his face to send many shards of glass into his skin. Goro tried to escape his sand trap, but the more he struggled, the tighter it became. It was the same as a boa constrictor: everytime be breathed out, the sand became tighter. it got to the point where his head was purple, and his eyes were bloodshot red. Goro expired, and the hand threw him off into the horizon somewhere.

"So what's this about me wishing I wasn't here? bet you're sorry you and your cronies decided to lure some innocent girl out here so you could have your way with her, huh? You chumps give decent perverts like me a bad name."

"Go... to hell..." Lee managed to say bleeding from his wounds. One of his eyes had a glass shard sticking out of it, and his face was shredded. The hand of sand turned itself into a large hammer that had a big flat end.

"After you," Suna said, moving one of his arms toward Lee. The hammer swung, and there was squish/crunch sound.

Kenji, after having realized that crying over his now missing hands wasn’t going to get him anywhere, went from feeling shocked and upset to downright pissed off. Kenji got up, the stumps of his hands still bleeding, and went over to Shuji who was still screaming and clutching his head. Miyuki watched as Kenji moved his foot back and then kicked Shuji right in the ass. “Shut up, man. Get up and let’s get this girl.” Of course, Shuji couldn’t hear him, he couldn’t hear anything outside of the horrendous laughing that was now filling his mind to its bursting point. In fact, he seemed not to notice the kick at all as he simply toppled sideways and continued to lay on the ground while holding his head and pleading and gibbering for it all to stop – it wasn’t going to, not yet. Kenji growled then and focused his attention onto Miyuki, pointing at her with his right bloody stub. “You bitch. What did you do to him?!”

”Nothing that he didn’t already have coming to him...” Miyuki responded, folding her arms across her chest as she kept her light blue colored gaze focused on the pair of them. She doubted Shuji would be much use anymore in a fight, but she wasn’t going to allow herself to turn her back to him in the off chance he somehow recovered from the Genjutsu she had placed him in.

“Fix him! Fix him this instant or I’ll… I’ll….!”

”Or you’ll what?”, Miyuki responded. She wasn’t normally one to speak this much during a situation like this, but she was curious as to what Kenji thought he’d be able to do to her without any hands.

Kenji instead of responding verbally rushed at her while swinging around his stubby arms. Miyuki easily levitated herself sideways and out of the way at the last minute, spinning around so that she was facing his back. Before Kenji could stop himself Miyuki landed a kick right in his ass, adding to his momentum, and sending him headfirst into a nearby tree. Kenji’s body crumpled, unconscious, to the ground: if he survived the concussion she had likely just given him it would be a miracle. Miyuki then focused her attention onto Shuji who had finally stopped screaming and crying and was instead just staring off in space, completely and totally mentally broken. He too wouldn’t be getting up anytime soon, if ever.

With her opponents down she looked toward Suna, curious as to how he fared….

Suna's sand gathered back into his gourd, the cork going back on last. The gourd moved and wiggled with the new edition of blood. The glow surrounding it only seemed to become brighter. He'd have to get used to that. Suna had also found that as long as he used the sand in the gourd, he didn't have to use his own chakra. Major abilities would still require it though. Against small fries like these guys it would do, but up against someone else major, Suna knew he'd have to break out all of his tricks...

Suna looked at the stain of meat and bones on the ground that used to be Lee. "Well, that's that," he said. Someone behind him had been yelling the whole time, but now he was silent. Suna turned around in time to see Miyuki kick a dude in the ass. After he ran headfirst into a tree, he was down. The guy was likley going to bleed to death with no hands. The screaming one was sitting there, staring into space. Suna couldn't get a read on him, which meant that his mind had been broken.

"Sucks to be you guys, huh? I bet you didn't see this happening when you woke up this morning, eh?" Suna looked up at the girl in the tree. "So yeah, all this hard work doesn't come free, i'll have you know. We'll be expecting some compensation. For starters, what color are the underwear you have on?"

Dead and dying people around them didn't much faze Suna. He'd been killing for so long it was second nature to him. Cracking jokes among the dead like that would probably make that girl think he was crazy...

Miyuki focused her attention onto the female in the tree, levitating herself up to the branch the woman was on. She reached over, gripping onto her underneath of her arm pits, and without having to prompt her to she let go of the branch she had been clutching so that Miyuki could bring her back down to the ground. She set her down carefully on her own feet, biting her bottom lip and attempting not to laugh due to Suna asking her what color her panties were.

The female was baffled by Suna’s inquiry. She opened her mouth once, closed it, and then opened again before stammering out a “Well… I… That’s… none of your business!” The female than stomped her foot, turned on her heel, and started to storm her way off and out of the clearing as she made her way back toward the path.

”Well… that wasn’t very nice. Not like you were asking to see them….” Miyuki commented with a small giggle before shaking her head. Miyuki then glanced to all of the downed bandits; some dead, some so mentally broken that they’d never recover. They wouldn’t be a problem anymore, so their job was done. ”Suppose we should get back… that’s the bandits taken care of now. Hope the paycheck is good...” Miyuki would rise herself up once more and then levitate herself out of the clearing and back toward Hanagakure.

"Ahhh you spoil sport! It was a joke! I COULD HAVE ASKED TO GRAB YOUR BOOBS!"

This was the usual reaction he was used to getting, but at least he wasn't trying to rape her like these morons. "A pervert with standards" he called himself...

It was time to go get paid though. Suna lifted off and headed back towards Hana with Miyuki...
