Mission name: Crash The Funeral Mission rank: A Rank Objective: Stop the burial of the "deceased" before it's too late Location: Sunagakure Reward: 1000 ryo + Word Count | Minimum: 900 Words Mission description: We have gotten reports that a shopkeeper, who gotten himself mixed in the Mobster family, couldn't pay his "protection fees." As a result, he was kidnapped and put into a genjutsu that will give him the appearance of death. To be cruel the mobster family decided to give the supposedly dead merchant to his family, they pressured the distraught family into having the burial the next day; before the genjutsu can be undone. We wouldn't have known about this sneaky ploy if our inside man in the mob family didn't tell us about that whole plan. Stop this madness at once! Mission details:When arriving at the funeral you will see that the Mob Boss is watchingthe funeral with 8 henchmen surrounding him. The mob boss will be scared at seeing that Konoha shinobi has arrived to the burial, way before the body itself is buried. He will send all of his minions to attack you at once in fear, he will also scream at the 2 goons burying the body to hurry it up. You will not be able to progress to the workerswithout dealing with all of the mob bosses' goons. Once you have handled all of the attacking goons, the Mob boss will laugh out loud nervously and snap his fingers to summon out his personal guards; 2 jonin level nuke shinobi. They are mercenaries for hire; one skilled in kenjutsu and one skilled in genjutsu. These mercenaries will protect the goons burying the unconscious body and will also not let you pass until you deal with them. After the mercenaries are out of your way, you will find that the mob boss is no where to be seen. It seems as though he ran away, you might as well do what you came here from and rescue the merchant from being buried. Just as you rescue him, the merchant will awaken from his genjutsu that he was put into. NPCS Name: Al Caboone Age: 50 General Appearance: Al Caboone is a short portly man with slightly dark skin; a faint moustache; and close-cut, black hair. This cape has visible cuts on its ends, more than likely as a result of Aramis' opponents damaging it. He then wears a high collar, Japanese-style, button-down white shirt and olive green dress pants. These pairs of pants contain cuts in their fabric at their sleeves, much like the cuts in the fabric of Aramis' overcoat. Finally, he wears a pair of twine sandals, in addition to being commonly seen with a piece of twine in his mouth which he spits out when he's fighting seriously. Here's a picture: Here Name: Blair Age: 20 General Appearance: Pink hair with red eyes, she is wearing black skinny jeans with a purple turtle neck. Personality: Quiet and cold hearted. Blair will not say any words casually, she is very inconsiderate to others and see even her own allies as a liability. When casting genjutsu she will not care who gets trapped inside it, she will simply use it with the purpose of killing all of those who stand in her way. He wears a green vest and a black sash. Personality: Desperate and tries his best to avoid any unnecessary trouble. He has a love of cabbages, but because no body bought any of his cabbages he was desperate enough to ask the mob family for assistance in sales. Joseph hasn't paid the mob because he forgot to and as a result he was kidnapped Motivations: CABBAGES! Fears: Cabbages being broken in front of him Other: While he was unconscious from the genjutsu, the mental images he got while unconscious because of the genjutsu was cabbages being broken around him! How horrifying! ’Are you fucking kidding me?”, Mitsukai thought to herself as she read the report she had just been handed by the Jounin who was already walking out of her door of her office – closing the thing quietly behind himself. According to what she was reading one of her inside connections with the local mob had just tipped her off that a shopkeeper who had been thought dead was really just in a Genjutsu that made him appear as such, and to make matters worse the mobsters had pressured the shopkeepers family into burying him today –before the Genjutsu would have a chance to wear off. If Mitsukai didn’t do something then the man was going to be buried alive and no one would be the wiser outside of the mobsters doing it. Mitsukai had seen a lot of horrible, downright cruel things, but this disgusted her enough that she was going to handle it herself. Or rather, her and her bodyguard – Kinzoku – were going to handle it. She could have just gone over there and dealt with it alone, but she figured Kinzoku would likely follow her regardless. Mitsukai now had Inazuma, a thunder dragon she had be-friend, sealed within her, but that didn’t mean that she was infallible: and she wasn’t head strong, egotistical, or outright dumb enough to think she was. No, power was one thing that didn’t go to Mitsukai’s head, especially when she had the lives of her villagers riding on her doing a decent job as Kazekage. Speaking into the wireless communicator as she pushed her chair back and stood from her desk, since she didn’t know how close Kinzoku was, she began to explain the situation, “Kinzoku, looks like we’ve got another issue. We’re going to have to crash a funeral for a shopkeeper. Everyone thought he was dead but apparently he’s been placed in a genjutsu by the local mob and is about to be buried alive with no one but them as the wiser… I’m sure there’s going to be quite a few mobsters watching to make sure their plan goes off without a hitch. Up for some violence?” Mitsukai grabbed up her folded scythe while she waited for Kinzoku’s response – though she highly doubted he would say no. With her scythe clipped to her belt she grabbed up her hat – which she had realized was nice since it protected her from Genjutsu attacks – and placed it on her head. Given that she now felt that doors were for squares she headed to her large double ‘door’ windows behind her and opened them up. She glanced off in the direction of the cemetery’s before bending her knees and launching herself into the air. She landed on a nearby roof an began the process over again – jumping from one to another as she neared the cemetery an where the helpless shopkeeper and his family were: she still couldn’t believe how cruel and sickening some people could be. Kinzoku was standing on a rooftop, over looking the Residential District. Repairs had begun after the last mission where he had to deal with a serial killer. The Kazekage said he came back, even after she'd cut him into many pieces, but Kinzoku had his doubts that he would return after being crushed into basically gelatin. Opinions about him began to change because of him taking that guy down, but not with everyone. Some still hated him, and he figured they always would. Kinzoku couldn't bring himself to care.
Kinzoku wanted to be sure that a monster like that would never return, so since the conclusion of the last assignment he'd kept a watch over those who couldn't really defend themselves. He'd been standing here all of about 2 hours when the Kazekage's message reached his ears. Kinzoku jumped and began to head in that direction, quickly moving from rooftop to rooftop. "...Kazekage, do you think it wise to be doing these tasks personally?... As you're pretty new at being the village lead, these are fragile times and there's always the chance that someone may try to take advantage and try an assassination attempt...."
He wouldn't let that happen of course, but better safe than sorry. Then again, that mountain of paperwork did look quite boring, especially in this heat....

| Mitsukai listened to Kinzoku’s concerns, and couldn’t blame him for asking such questions nor raising the issues he had. No, she likely shouldn’t have been handling such a matter personally but there was more than one reason behind doing this. “Aye, you’re right. I likely shouldn’t be doing this myself. But, with the fact that my friend, Inazuma, recently agreed to have himself sealed inside of me I need to know where my powers stand and what I’m capable of. I’d rather do that against an enemy I’m sure I can defeat than weighing my chances against someone in a real fight.”, she explained, hoping that he would understand. Her having Inazuma sealed inside of her had been something that had been planned for a while and worked out in great detail, and which had been done just hours earlier in a secured location to ensure that no one interfered. Then a grin spread across her face as the funeral that was going on came into view. “Besides..”, she added on after a moment, unable to help but confessing the next part she had to say, “… that paperwork gets dull quickly. This’ll be a nice way for me to release some of that pent up stress and get rid of the hand cramp from holding that pen for so long.” She didn’t mind her job as Kazekage at all, but that paperwork did get tiresome, dull, and in most cases repetitive: she needed to release some stress before she ‘accidentally’ ended up burning down her office and the paperwork with it. Mitsukai came to a stop, keeping her distance for a moment as she took in the scene before her and gathered information from it. From her position she could see a very well-dressed man that she could easily assume was the mob boss – he looked sleazy enough. Then she took notice of the blond haired man in the brown over coat nearby – mentally thinking as she did so that he had to be roasting alive beneath it – who had a sword marking him as a swordsman. Finally, there was a girl with purple hair and red eyes who also was wearing an outfit that spoke of how she didn’t belong her. Mitsukai saw no weapons on this female and was left to assume that she was the one who used Genjutsu – something that Mitsukai’s kage hat protected against. “The boss doesn’t look the sort to bother getting his hands dirty, that leaves me to assume that the female is the one who put the shopkeeper under the Genjutsu… I’ll handle her – my hat blocks against visual and sound based Genjutsu – there’s no way she can affect me.”

Kinzoku rather the village lead remain somewhere safe rather than dirty her hands with riff raff like this, and put herself at risk of some wise guy/gal taking a shot at her. It wasn't his decision to make, so he remained silent, keeping his thoughts to himself. Kinzoku spotted the Kazekage not far away as he approached and came to a stop himself, as to ascertain what he was up against.
There were 8 goons that were nothing to worry about, but there were also 2 others who possessed an admirable amount of strength. One of them, a male, had a lot of swords. The other was a female and had no weapons, leaving Kinzoku to conclude that she used Genjutsu, and the Kazekage confirmed this with her next set of words. The boss was well dressed, and like the 8 goons, he was read to be no threat whatsoever.
Kinzoku decided to get the small fry out of the way first. He jumped off of the building he stood upon into a front flip to land crouched on the ground below. While in the couch, he caused some of his Iron Sand to travel into the ground, to begin mixing with the minerals and create more Iron Sand. Afterwards he stood and slowly began walking toward the scene. His yellow eyes were fixed upon the boss figure first, and catching Kinzoku's stare, the Boss told those digging the hole to bury a coffin to hurry up. Looking terrified now, he also sent all 8 of the goons rushing toward Kinzoku. One by one, as they neared Kinzoku, "arms" began to surface from the dirt to grab the goons with makeshift "hands."
Some of them were crushed into a pulp, while others just had legs and arms along with other bones and body parts crushed and broken. A chorus of screams along with the sounds of bones popping erupted while Kinzoku continued walking slowly between them, his piercing yellow eyes fixed on the boss, who's begun to sweat buckets and looked scared for his life. He should have been.
The next to step up were the man and woman. Kinzoku moved his stare from the boss to the sword wielder for now. He would soon find that using a metallic weapon against a master of magnetism was a grave mistake, as he lie dying from wounds from his own weapons. This was the plan. First, Kinzoku wanted to see what he would try first, though all of his efforts would prove futile. He folded his arms and calmly waited for the first attack...

| Mitsukai didn’t hear anymore protests from Kinzoku about her stepping in and handling this herself, or at least helping but she doubted that meant he agreed to it or anything of the sort. So, she focused her attention fully on the battle as it began. The eight goons who didn’t seem to pose much of a threat at all began to rush towards Kinzoku, who, after a quick glance, seemed to dispatch of them easily enough. Knowing that Kinzoku wouldn’t need his help – not with that metal sand technique of his and that gourd – she focused her attention on the female Genjutsu user. Mitsukai wanted to get her out of the way as quickly as possible since she knew from experience that Genjutsu could be nasty to have to deal with. The female, Blair, took notice of the Kazekage speeding towards her suddenly and for a moment a look of terror crossed her face – that was, until it was replaced with a calculating look, the sort those who wanted power got. Mitsukai didn’t doubt she was thinking that if she got rid of her the hat would be Blair’s to claim, but Mitsukai wasn’t about to allow that to happen. Blair kept staring towards the Kazekage and as she did so her eyes took on a certain look – something that indicated to Mitsukai that she was likely trying some sort of visual genjutsu. However, Mitsukai kept nearing Blair at a rapid speed and Blair stumbled backwards, shocked that whatever she had just attempted had failed. Instead of talking shit, or taunting the stumbling female, Mitsukai simply shifted her body so that she looked to be charging towards the female much like a bull would or a football (soccer) players looking to tackle an opponent. The air around MItsukai began to crackle and give off the distinct smell of ozone, both which were indications of her new passive raiton shock coming into effect. - Passive Raiton Shock:
Name: Passive Shock Type: Personal Requirements: Thunder Dragon Sealed Ability Tier: 4 Minimum Rank: Jounin (A) Description: Due to Mits having an SS ranked Thunder Dragon sealed within her she constantly produces a Passive Shock of SS rank damage. This shock is deadly enough to drop an opponent via electricity to the brain or heart. If it happens to touch any part of an opponent it will automatically produce 3rd degree electrical burns. If the shock is left to go for more than one post the victim will likely explode if the shock is not tamed down. Mits is also fully capable of controlling the amount of voltage she lets off, however, she will always produce some what of an electrical charge, ranging anywhere from static shock to full blown electrocution.
“What the fu—“, the female was cut off, her words turning into an agonizing scream as Mitsukai’s electrically charged body collided with her and sent her slamming to the ground where the pair began to roll due to the force behind the impact. However, Mitsukai didn’t let go, and kept her grip tight upon the female so that the raiton surges continued to electrocute her. The air filled quickly with a new smell – that of burning flesh – and smoke began to rise up from Blair’s flesh and clothing. After several agonizing seconds of full blown electrocution Blair exploded outward leaving a mess of goo and body parts to lie upon the ground. Mitsukai got to her feet and quickly turned her attention towards the leader of the mobsters. Normally Mitsukai was quick and clean when it came to killing someone, but now that she was Kazekage she had felt that an example needed to be set: she would do anything, no matter how downright and dirty, to protect her people. | This man, Aramis was his name, stood taller than Kinzoku was. He wore his coat over his shoulders sort of like a cape, with cuts on the end of it, possibly from past fights. His right hand held a sword that looked razor sharp, glinting in the sun, while his left held a case that was wrapped in what looked to be some sort of tape. Chewing nonchalantly on a piece of straw with a grim, tough guy expression, he looked upon Kinzoku unimpressed. He decided to test Kinzoku, tossing the sword in his hand toward the kid with ease, but the weapon flew toward him with the fury of a god. Kinzoku didn't attempt to dodge. He didn't have to; because of his natural magnetic field, the weapon changed trajectory as it got close, flying off in some other direction and becoming lodged into the wall of a building, up near the roof. To throw a dangerous weapon like that at him, the audacity. Kinzoku unfolded his arms and began walking toward Aramis; around this time is when the Kazekage tackled the female and did something so horrific that the woman exploded. Kinzoku didn't know what it was she did, and wasn't sure that he wanted to know. Aramis, looking from his sword now lodged in the wall of the building, to his female accomplice who was now in bits and pieces, and back to Kinzoku approaching, spit out the straw and threw open his case to reveal many more swords. Kinzoku drew one solitary Kunai and threw it in the direction of Aramis. If he were smart, he would have avoided it. Instead, he deflected the weapon with a sword, which marked with beginning of the end. Aramis began to heave sword after sword at Kinzoku, with none of them meeting their marks. The swords all would near the kid and turn to fly off into another direction as if they suddenly grew minds of their own. Kinzoku held his right arm to the side as he approached, with something silver colored dripping from his right hand. A drop of the substance never touched the ground, for it suddenly solidified into a long metal staff. After several quick twirls of the new weapon, Kinzoku aimed to bring the end of it down upon the forehead of Aramis, who used two swords to block the swing, barely. A loud Clang sound was produced, along with a shower of sparks. Kinzoku skillfully began to swing the weapon at the sword user over and over, moving faster as time progressed, with Aramis struggling to keep up with the kid to block every blow, creating more clang sounds and sparks. Aramis suddenly began to look worried, whereas Kinzoku continued to look calm. Soon the two of them were moving so fast, their movements were difficult to keep up with for those with normal vision. - Iron Stick:
Name: Steel Release: Iron Stick Canon/Custom: Custom Rank: D-SS Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary Element: Steel Range: Melee Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: 1 post for creation, weapon lasts until dropped, destroyed, or battle ends Cooldown: 7 posts Description: The user pools excess metal into their hand and forms it into a weapon; usually similar to a police baton or quarter staff (allowed forms depend on user's specializations). The weapon has all the power, damage output, and defensive properties of the metal it is made out of, and requires the same amount of damage to be destroyed. However, if the user loses contact with the weapon, it will instantly rust and crumble into nothing, no matter what rank or metal it is. Only ONE weapon created this way can exist at any given moment; in order to create another the existing must be destroyed and the cooldown period followed.
The chakra enhanced steel slammed into the swords, shattering both of them into thousands of pieces. Aramis was hit dozens of times with the staff. Kinzoku riddled him with hits everywhere, delivering the blows so quickly that Aramis seemed to be dancing a strange jig; the popping sounds from steel meeting flesh loud and audible. The punishment he received left him unaware to the fact that Kinzoku used his magnetism to neatly line up all of the thrown swords behind Aramis a distance. The end came when Kinzoku thrust a right hand toward the chest of Aramis, launching him from his feet and sending him rocketing backwards, directly toward the lined up swords. Aramis was impaled upon his own weapons, and bled from many wounds. Blood poured freely from his mouth and nose. He attempted to struggle; one final try to free himself, but this proved futile, and his body went limp, signaling his expiration. Kinzoku dropped the staff. The moment he released his self made weapon, it rusted, turned to dust and blew off into the breeze. Still with his plain expression he turned his gaze to the boss next, who looked to be peeing his pants in fear. 682 + 733 = 1,415/900 | |

| Having dispatched of the female Genjutsu user rather easily – mostly due to her lack of physical prowess and speed – Mitsukai had been able to see the majority of the fight between Kinzoku and the sword user. As Mitsukai watched Kinzoku fight out of the corner of her eye, while keeping the majority of her attention on the boss man in case he tried anything slick, she found herself thinking once more that she had made the right choice: Kinzoku had a lot of potential and a lot of power, and now he had a way to use that.
As the swords began to line up behind the sword user and Kinzoku gave one final thrust of his hand which ended in the man being thrown backwards and impaled upon his own blades Mitsukai fully turned her focus to the man who now looked like he was pissing himself in fear. “Going to run away?”, Mitsukai asked, her tone of voice making the words sound more like a dare or even a threat than an actual question. Part of Mitsukai found herself hoping that he would just so she would have a reason to either kill him or bring him in by force, and yet the other half of her wanted him to remain where he was so he could properly be arrested, imprisoned, and able to share the tale of what he saw here today so that it would be a warning to those in the future who might attempt to do something like this in her village. The boss man looked between Mitsukai, Kinzoku, and then to the workers who had stopped attempting to bury the shopkeeper alive and who were edging away slowly as if they were going to try and make a break for it.
“Well?”, Mitsukai added on in a hardened tone, not wanting to waste all day waiting for a response. The boss man jumped at her tone of voice and then looked over to the mess of goo that was the Genjutsu user and then to the very impaled Kenjutsu user. Given that he didn’t want to suffer the same fate, that he was absolutely terrified of dying but knew that his chances of running were slim, he sagged his head in defeat. “Good, maybe you’ll act as a message to anyone else who wants to attempt to do something like this again in my village. I don’t tolerate it…”
Mitsukai let out a soft whistle that had three Jounin appearing almost instantly one of which was where a medical corps uniform. “Arrest him…”, she said to two of the Jounin. “… and ensure that Joseph is alright. He was placed into a Genjutsu that rendered him into a death like state.”, she added to the medical corps Jounin. The boss man was seized an dragged away as the other Jounin went to ensure that Joseph was alright – the goons who had been attempting to bury him were already attempting to run off – they obviously didn’t want to be arrested, no matter the consequences otherwise…
