What's that Lassie? Timmy Fell Down Into the Well!? [D-rank Mission. 547 WC]

Right, this was... a tradgedy waiting to happen. How the hell no one had taken this mission yet was beyond the female; there where dozens of Chunnin and Jounin floating around the mission table, and no shortage of kids that had to be Genin. Why where they ignoring a kid trapped in a well? That was just... beyond her comprehension. She hadn't even really planned on doing a mission today, she'd just stopped by to see if anything looked interesting. This one stuck out pretty hard, and she wasn't the type to leave someone to die in such a position.

Thankfully, the well in question wasn't that far away, it only took her 10 minutes at a decent jog to reach the well and check in with the people that where working to keep the boy from drowning. The boy was barely managing to hang onto a rope they'd thrown down; struggling to keep it uder his arms without slipping out. Damn, that was some slick gunk coating that well. How they used that water... just wow. There was an old civilian cop in charge of the area; another sign that the ninja just didn't care, and another reason for Galene to get angry. She approached him with a simple, "I'm here to help. Makes some room so I can work."

Without even bothering to let the man speak, she was moving to the edge of the well and calling down to the boy, "Hey kid, we're gunna get you out of there! Can you still tred water?"

"I think I can!"

"Good! I'm going to fill the well with water. It'll be slow, but you'll have to work a bit to keep on top. You up for that?"

"Anything! Just get me out of here, please!"

"Alright kid, get ready!"

She grabbed her left arm at what would have been her wrist, if she still had one. At this point, she was basically bracing the head of the anemone that was there, making sure to hold her aim steady as she began to release water from the 'mouth' of the creature at a steady rate. It was a simple ability her entire clan could use almost from birth; known to other ninja as Archerfish. The rate of water flow was enough to gently lift the boy, but not cause enough disterbence in the water to make treding or swimming difficult. It took a good ten minutes to raise him high enough to be pulled out; the clean water she released diluting the gunk and slick enough for him to be grabbable once he was near the top of the well. Simple enough solution; how the hell no one else had thought of it...

"Good work, kid. You're a little fish.~"

"Thank you, ma'am. I was getting so cold and tired... I wouldn't have lasted much longer."

"No worries. Go get warm and dry, and get some rest. I'll see you around, maybe.~"

The medics and police where pulling him away by this point, so there was no reason to hold them up. She hunted own the old cop in charge to grab the mission stub, so she could get her pay for her work. Still a better afertnoon than sitting at home being bored, yep.
