Hikari Yanagi [Item Registry]

This ability allows the wearer to essentially disappear, or hide in plain sight, without the use of jutsu. The user can be standing in broad daylight, or the darkest of a black night, and be equally unseen and unheard as it muffles the users movements. It also blocks the users chakra; erasing it from sensory perception. The user can still be bumped into or felt unless another jutsu that would change such is in use, and can thus be detected that way. This ability envelopes the users entire body even though the cloak does not by the chakra used to activate and deactive the ability. It takes -10 chakra to keep this ability in play.

While this jacket does not necessarily protect against physical attacks it protects against all elemental attacks of S rank or lower by absorbing them. The jacket is capable of withstanding up to 5 SS ranked elemental based attacks before it will not longer be able to absorb SS ranked attacks: even if this limit has been reached it can still absorb lower elemental based attacks of S rank and lower. The jacket protects against elemental attacks at all times, however to add this same protection to uncovered areas the user must use up -5 chakra per post. Both Stealth and Elemental Absorption can be used at the same time.

Due to the armor being made entirely out of shadows instead of any sort of cloth fabric it is capable of 'healing' or fixing itself, making it impossible to cut off or remove the armor. However, this does not heal the user, nor protect her against physical attacks as its usage is purely elemental. This healing is done on the armors own due to its sentience and therefore requires no chakra of the user.

This armor cannot be worn by any other person than Hikari (or the current host of Ankoku). Anyone attempting to wear this armor will find the armor coming to life, wrapping instantly around them, and squeezing them to death. When taken off this armor looks like nothing but an old tattered coat, its true form only showing when worn.
