A Change in Plans [Konoha -> Aka Yuki][Michie and Konran Only]

Just as Demi had done before, and provided that Michie allowed her, she would carry the young girl on her back as a means not to tire her out or push her too hard. It would also allow herself and Konran to move at much faster speeds. She had no intentions of sticking around Konoha longer, nor waiting around for trouble to find them. Had her dad and younger sister been in the village they would have found them, but they hadn’t. It was all starting to make Demitria think that perhaps finding a place to settle down in for a while would be a good idea – going from village to village would only end up causing them to end up missing each other. But, if they remained in one place for a prolonged period of time chances were they’d meet up.

”So I heard of this place called Aka Yuki; red snow. It’s this mountain area where it’s pretty much cold and snowing all the time. There’s no central power there; no village that is in charge, or Kage. There’s small villages scattered along the mountain – it’s mostly a place where people go when they want to disappear or lay low. Given the weather and the harsh conditions of the place I was told that most don’t bother sending people there. I figure we can lay low there for a while, catch some well needed rest… Maybe we’ll stand a better chance finding my dad and sister if we stay in one place and wait for them to come to us.” she explained once they were well enough away from the village so that no one could eavesdrop on them.

Were Konran or Michie to not have an issue with this plan that’s exactly where she would go – Michie carried on her back.

After some commotion being caused in Konoha they all left; Rose getting a ride on Demitria’s back. It was quite strange to move at such high speeds but she enjoyed it regardless. Once they were far enough away from Konoha Demi finally explained where it was they were going. She had heard about the mountains that Demi mentioned, and knew them to be very cold and very harsh just as Demi had described. She had always wanted to go see them – she had heard that they were pretty – and now was going to have her chance.

Demi assumed that by staying in one spot they’d have a more likely chance to find the people Demi was looking for, and even Michie had to agree that that sounded like a good idea. With not much to add to the conversation she remained silent and simply watched as the landscape around them changed and grew increasingly colder: it made her glad she had followed Demitria’s advice and bought some warm clothes: her hat, goggles, and thick hoodie were certainly going to come in handy in this landscape that was for sure.

Another village, more murders. No one was coming after them. They - well Demi - she'd even kidnapped a little girl, and it looked like she was all for going with her. Konran would just end up getting frustrated over the whole thing so he spoke nothing more of the subject, opting for silence like usual.

As they ran along, Demi spoke of a place up in the mountains called "Red Snow." It was cold and harsh, and people didn't often go there. No one was in charge of the place, so that mean if anyone needed killed he wouldn't have to worry about authorities. Then again, it wasn't like he was worried right then. He'd killed people in 3 different villages and no one had done anything about it. Well, there was that one guy in the water village, but his little brother and sister held him back. Konran often thought about how a fight against that guy would have gone...

Konran didn't say anything while running. he noticed it becoming colder the farther he followed Demi...
