She was in so much trouble!

Or rather, that was the thought that had been running through her head as she was half dragged half carried toward the administrative building by two Jounin with a third leading the way: a small wolf pup that was half white half gray clutched tightly but gently between both hands who was making a happy little yapping noise while his tail wagged furiously in excitement despite the injuries the pup had sustained. The wolf pup was entirely oblivious – or rather it seemed that way to Aiko – to her own feelings of dread. She knew the very location she was being led to: her father’s office. As she was taken there she began to think back on the actions that had led up to this point…

Aiko had decided to take a stroll through the park: she was having a good day health wise and hadn’t wanted to waste it by sitting around indoors. She had assumed both her fathers were busy so heading out to the park had seemed like the best bet. She had taken a small messenger bag with her that had some snacks, some water, and even a good book in it and had had every intention on lounging comfortably under some tree and lulling away the next few hours.

Fate had had other plans for her though.

No sooner had she reached the park that the sound of pained yelping had reached her ears: the kind of noise an animal would make in trouble or in agony. Considering the kind of person she was – she had smuggled more than her fair share of animals home in an attempt to nurse them back to health after all – she had gone to investigate. Behind some vines and thick shrubs on the south end of the park she had found a little hidden area within the trees where four large and bulky boys had stumbled across a lonely little wolf pup. Out of the four boys three of them held sticks. Before Aiko could ask what was going on, or even demand the information, she saw in utter horror as one of the boys – the largest of the bunch – raised his stick up and whipped the pup good with it.

Well, of course Aiko wasn’t going to just stand there and watch as he attempted to do it again. Instead she had all but flown across the clearing and positioned herself directly in front of the poor creature, blocking it entirely from view. The pup was yelping again and whining and had Aiko happened to glance back at that point – which she didn’t since she wouldn’t take her gaze off of the present ‘enemies’ - she would have noticed a bleeding welt rising up on the pups nose. “What do you want, lil girl? Bug off before we hit you too...” the largest of the boys had spoken to her.

Aiko had then done something she didn’t often do: she verbally spoke, ”I’m going to give you one warning: leave now and don’t let me ever catch you harming another animal again.”

“You’re going to warn us?”, one of the other boys had responded, causing the others to laugh. This same boy had then wandered closer to her and leaned forward so that Aiko got a clear whiff of his rather stinky breath. “What exactly is a little brat like you going to do? Go home and play with your dolls before I beat your ass next. What we do to that little bastard is our business, not yours...” The boy at that point had made a very horrible mistake: he had attempted to put his hands on Aiko. It had caused a knee jerk reaction: with the urge to protect herself and the pup her primary concern she had punched the kid in the easiest place she could reach considering their size differences – his throat. Gasping and choking the kid went down causing his buddies to lunge. The first to get near her – the biggest of the group – was quickly kneed in the gut and sent bending over holding himself and screaming in a tone far higher than what he had been speaking in earlier. The third boy, opening his mouth and attempting to tell her “You’re going to get it!---” was slammed with an upper cut kick in the jaw mid sentence causing him to bite down on his tongue hard enough to draw blood. The last boy, looking like he was about to wet his pants in terror because Aiko actually knew how to defend herself, took off running while screaming for help leaving his friends in their various positions of agony behind.

The screams for help had been what had brought the three Jounin’s attention to her and what had ultimately left her in her current position.

As Aiko snapped out of her thoughts she found that they were currently in the administrative building, and it wasn’t long before she was brought before the doors to her father’s office. A knock was had, and were they instructed to come in the Jounin in the lead would open the doors and then step back to allow the other two – still restraining Aiko – inside. While Aiko’s feeling of ‘Uhoh!’ was still kicking into over-drive the puppy in her hands was still yapping away happily – though his injuries were apparent.

”Lord Hokage! Please know we did not hurt your daughter, but we felt her restraint necessary. She attacked a group of boys, badly injuring three of them before we arrived...”

Aiko winced inwardly; the whole situation sounded horrible when put like that… and she could only wonder what her father was going to say.

Hisaki sat at his desk, a scowl on his face as he ran his fingers through the dark fur of Storm, his Dire Wolf companion. The mountain of paperwork on his desk was quite intimidating and Hisaki wasn't sure how Hiroyuki put up with all of this while he was the Hokage of the village. He hasn't had the hat for that long, but he had been feeling the stress of the situation, and totally understood why he had been eager to step down. Hisaki, however, had no intention of giving up the hat any time soon, as he was quite proud of being the leader of the village and he felt that he was a good leader, being able to calm people down from situations where they would otherwise be hostile. He heard request after request for aid from different areas of the village, or even often different villages, as well as tracking the movement of different ninja throughout the world. He was keeping an eye out for a group of Missing Ninja still lead by the former Sword Saint of Konoha, Mitsuo Uchiha. He had been keeping an eye out for him, as he had murdered the entirety of the Konoha Council on his last trip into the village, and Hisaki wouldn't allow that to happen again.

He sighed a deep sigh at the paperwork, wishing that it would simply write itself, but knowing that it was a foolish thing to wish for, and he was about to pull out his ink and pen and get to work when he heard a commotion outside of the door. Instead of activating his Byakugan, he used his natural chakra sensory ability, telling him that one of the people outside was his daughter Aiko...

Oh god, what did she do this time...

She was a special child and Hisaki and Hiroyuki were extremely proud of her. It was like Amaya had taken all of the best traits of the two of them and put them into her, and just to mess with them tossed in a dash of troublemaker from Yuki or Temaki. After the time that Hisaki had spent around his sister's in law (he generally just called them his sisters as it was easier) he could really see that streak in his little girl, though he had never seen anything like it in Hiroyuki, and he knew that she didn't get it from him. He would prepare to hear whatever the bad news was and once he heard the knock at the door he simply shook his head and said "Come in."

Three Jounin walked into his office, two of them restraining his darling Aiko, who was holding a small puppy in her hands which was yapping away. Hisaki hadn't sensed the Puppy, but he imagined that he should have, looking towards it and smirking softly. She was just like her da', which didn't surprise him in the least. He had imagined that she would have the same affinities as the rest of the pack, and her love for animals had always been aparent from the way that she played with all of the other dogs. Hisaki was looking at the small puppy and he noticed that it was injured, essentially ignoring the Jounin as he spoke as Hisaki walked up to the three Jounin and his daughter, the lead one who had spoken stepping out of his way as he would coat his hand in medical chakra, holding it over the young puppies injuries and healing them up. "There there little one, you're safe now." His voice was soft, his calming aura relaxing the jounin in the room and causing the puppy to stop yipping as it was healed. Hisaki was always glad that he had this effect on people and animals, as it made being a medic a hell of a lot easier.

When he was finished tending to the puppy he patted it's head and placed his hand on Aiko's head as well, looking towards the Jounin that were restraining her.

"Tsume, Daisuke, please release my daughter. I'm sure that whatever she did, she is no match for you three, and restraining her is pointless." He examined her briefly when they let go, seeing that she had blood on her but noticing none of it was hers. He looked back to the lead Jounin and said, "Sora, Please kindly explain what happened again here? Why are you three escorting my daughter? And why does she have blood on her?" Sora Sarutobi looked more calm than panicked like he had when he had walked into the room. Hisaki was sure that he hadn't wanted to upset the Hokage, which he completely understood. When you were refered to as the Stormlord, it made sense that people would want to keep you happy.

"We didn't hurt her, I swear." His voice was more calm than when he had walked into the room, Hisaki looking him in the eye as he spoke. He had noticed that she wasn't hurt, which was good because that would have been problematic for these men. "We simply restrained her because when we found her she had attacked a few boys, injuring three of them quite badly. They all needed medical attention after her attack." Hisaki's face turned very sour very quickly. His aura was no longer calm, and the three Jounin looked quite nervous. The sky outside of the window became extremely dark, a heavy rain starting to fall from the heavens and thunder rolling above as lightning would strike some distance away. This was why he was the Stormlord, his emotional instability combined with his immense power and mastery of Hurricane release causing the abilities to create fantastic storms simply if he was angry. He looked towards his daughter, narrowing his eyes.

"Why did you attack the boys, Aiko Hyuga-Inuzuka..." His voice was stern, none of the softness left in it. He didn't like being stern with his daughter, but what they had told him seemed to be quite serious. He imagined her answer would have something to do with the puppy in her arms, but at this moment all that he could think was how he would explain this to this boys' families when he had to talk to them at the hospital...

PostSubject: Re: It's Not How It Looks! [Open]   It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Icon_minitimeThu Nov 24, 2016 9:43 am

Her father came over from behind his desk and took a look at the puppy before healing it: his calming aura causing the puppy to quiet down though its tail continued to wag from side to side. Her father patted the puppy on the head and then touched her head as well though she didn’t smile like she usually would have: she was still pretty sure she was in trouble. Her father then asked the Jounin to quite restraining her which they did without hesitation: she had no intentions of harming them – not that she could if she tried.

Her father asked for a better explanation and the one offered up had her flinching: it sounded horrible when put like that. In fact the way she felt was kind of like a monster. It was true the boys had required medical attention when she had got done with them but they had brought it on themselves: she had simply been defending herself and the innocent puppy who she was now hugging to her chest while he licked at her chin. The response that the Jounin gave her father had his mood changing quickly; no longer a calm aura coming from him but one far different. The weather outside shifted, changing along with her father’s mood.

"Why did you attack the boys, Aiko Hyuga-Inuzuka..." The look on her father’s face as well as well as his stern tone of voice had her gaze shifting to the ground and a frown forming on her face. A saddened feeling overtook her and her response became telepathic as it usually was – though it was done in a way that all in the room would be able to hear her, ”I was heading into the park to read my book when I heard this pup crying… I went to see what was going on and I found these four big boys in this hidden clearing in the park; three of them had sticks. I witnessed the biggest of the boys strike the pup with the stick which made the mark on his nose. I jumped in the way, told them to stop. They ignored me; threatened to hit me next if I didn’t leave: “What exactly is a little brat like you going to do? Go home and play with your dolls before I beat your ass next. What we do to that little bastard is our business, not yours...”. That’s exactly what he said to me. After that he tried to attack me so I defended myself by punching him in his throat – it was the closest place I could reach. After that his three friends tried attacking me: I kicked one of them in the gut and then the next one after that in his chin – he was attempting to speak and ended up biting his tongue. The last one ran away… “

With her story done she simply became quiet once more and took to staring at the floor again. She felt bad for what she had done: not because she had beaten up three boys but because by doing so her father now had to deal with it. Still, there was one thing she was absolutely sure of: ”I’m sorry for causing you trouble… but I’m not sorry for what I did. They were hurting a defenseless animal, and even after I told them to stop they didn’t. I won’t apologize for doing what I think is right...”

Storm raised his massive head as she explained what had happened, the large dire wolf making his way over towards Aiko and licking her cheek when he sensed that she was sad. Hisaki’s anger didn’t subside, but instead became worse when she told him how the boys had treated her and the small puppy, the intensity of the storm would increase as his rage boiled over inside of him. He was considering walking over to his shelf, picking up his Staff of the Storm, and teaching those boys that you don’t fuck with his family, but he remembered that as the Hokage, that would probably be greatly frowned upon. His daughter had already taught them that lesson, anyway. He placed a hand on Storm’s head once more, scratching between his ears as he comforted Aiko, smiling softly. The storm would subside a little bit, moving to wrap his arms around Aiko and pull her in close after her apology. “You know, I saved Storm from a similar predicament when he was just a pup, though instead of three small boys it was a fur mill...Fortunately they saw the error of their ways, and ate a few fists at the same time. I”m not mad at you for saving this puppy, I’m a little disappointed that it had to end in violence, but it seems like there was no other way.”

He would let go and turn back to the three Jounin standing in the room, bowing before them, which seemed to shock the men. Hisaki had been Hokage for a little while, but he was still a shinobi and a gentleman at heart, and he sometimes did things which surprised people, like bowing before them instead of them bowing before him. “Thank you for bringing her to me, but you three should go back to your daily business. I have posted several new missions on the board of varying ranks and there’s a couple on there that I believe you would be perfect for.” They all got the hint, bowing back and walking out the room. Hisaki activated his Byakugan and watched as they left, waiting to make sure they were far enough away so that they couldn’t hear his conversation with his daughter.

“You know Aiko, I’m not mad at you. I know what you did was to help that pup, and I’m proud of you for defending an innocent creature from bullies. You remind me a lot of your Da’ and how he was with me, or like your aunties with him.” He placed a hand on her head once more, smiling now, the storm outside having subsided and the sun peeking through again. He wondered if people in Konoha ever thought of why the weather was so odd here? “And I know that you would do the same thing if you came across an innocent person being put through hell by someone else, and I am extremely proud of you for that. You are someone who embodies what I believe this village is all about; bravery, passion, and a will to protect those who need it.” His smile wouldn’t leave his face as he spoke to his daughter, looking down towards the happy pup once more, scratching him between the ears before Storm would move in and give him a sniff and a lick as well.

“Looks like Storm likes him, which is good. What are you going to name him? I mean, if you’re going to have a wolf, he needs a proper name…”

PostSubject: Re: It's Not How It Looks! [Open]   It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Icon_minitimeThu Nov 24, 2016 11:14 am

Storm came over, licking at her cheek. It was hard to ignore such a large wolf, especially considering how much she liked Storm, so she lifted her head and gently reached up after shifting the puppy in her arms to her right hand and scratched under Storm’s chin with her left hand. When Hisaki came over and hugged her she returned the gesture with one arm, keeping the other around the pup. Her father explained that he had saved Storm from a similar situation, only instead of several boys it was a fur mill. While she had never seen a fur mill before she had heard the horrors of them, and it made her very happy that her father had saved Storm from such a fate. Her father went on to say that he wasn’t upset with her for saving the puppy, only disappointed that the situation had ended in violence though he understood that there had been no other way.

Aiko remained quiet as her father then focused her attention onto the Jounin, thanking them for bringing Aiko to them after giving them a bow – which Aiko noticed seemed to shock them. He then mentioned that there were several new missions that needed done – some of which they could help with – as a means of dismissing them: all three got the hint.

Her father seemed to wait a minute before telling her that he wasn’t mad at her, that he knew what she had done was to defend the pup and he was proud of her for that. She reminded him of Da’ which made her smile: she wanted to be just like her father’s when she grew up, so to hear such a thing made her quite happy. Outside the storm – which had grown worse for a moment after her she told her father her side of the story – seemed to fully calm down. Her father then mentioned that he knew she would do the same if she came across an innocent person being bullied to which she nodded. Hisaki added that she was someone who embodied what he believed the village to be about: bravery, passion, and a will to protect those who needed it. A small blush formed on Aiko’s cheeks, but she was proud nonetheless.

She glanced back down at the pup in time to see Storm wander over and give him a sniff and then a lick which caused Aiko to giggle softly. When her father asked her what she was going to name him a thoughtful look came upon her face and she looked from the pup to him and shrugged her shoulders. ”I don’t know, daddy. I didn’t think about it… “ She tilted her head in a thoughtful manner and lifted the puppy up in front of her, gently turning him so that she could look at the puppy’s face. The pup licked at her nose and she returned the gesture by placing a kiss on his and then cuddling the creature to her chest gently. ”He kind of reminds me of a star; it starts out little but grows so bright you can see if from very far away… Kind of like how he started out in a bad situation but now is in a good one…. I think that’s what I’ll name him… Hoshi.” The pup let out a happy bark, tail beginning to wag happily as he contently remained in Aiko’s arms.

It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: It's Not How It Looks! [Open]   It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Icon_minitimeFri Nov 25, 2016 10:38 am

Aiko was extremely careful with the pup, which was something that Hisaki had expected but it still made him happy to see. He watched the happy little puppy in her arms wagging his tail and barking happily as Hisaki chuckled softly. It was funny how before he had met Hiro he wasn't so big on dogs in general, but after being with him for as long as he had, his love for dogs had grown so much. He had rescued Storm after the two of them had met, and when he brought the wolf pup home it surprised Hiroyuki quite a bit. He still remembered the look on Hiro's face when he said "Can we keep him? He doesn't have a home anymore..." Clearly that conversation had gone well, as Storm was one of his closest companions these days, the two of them having been inseperable over the past several years. Hisaki moved to pet the pup in his daughter's arms once more before he went back over to his desk. He sighed softly, knowing that he was going to have a mountain of paperwork and to have to apologize to the parents of those brats who had attacked the pup. He was sure that he could make it so that they ended up in trouble, but a lot of parents refused to see reason and believed that their kids were always little angels. They were generally wrong of course, only Aiko was a little angel.

"I like the name Hoshi, it seems very fitting...And reminds me of one of Hiro's...well never mind that. He will be safe now with you I'm sure, and you've had a lot of experience taking care of the rest of the dogs. A puppy is a little bit different, as I learned with Storm, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out, and you'll have me and Da' to help you out as well." He locked his fingers together, hearing movement in the hallway once more. His Byakugan would activate again, figuring out quickly who it was when he had issues seeing their chakra. Before she even got to the door, Hisaki would smirk and say "Miyoko, there's no need to stand outside, come on in." The ANBU Captain would make her way into the room, a scowl on her face as Hisaki had announced her name to the room, which Hisaki didn't particularly care if his daughter knew who she was. She had been his most trusted ANBU agent since he had stepped up to the role of Hokage, and his daughter had heard her name several times. She would bow before the Hokage and look at Aiko, keeping her lips sealed for the moment. "Anything you need to tell me can be shared in front of my daughter." His voice was a little bit more serious now, though still not his typical stern voice, which was a much different situation all together.

"Lord Hokage, we have completed our mission as you requested, but there have been...complications..." She looked back at Aiko once more before continuing. "Since he was put into prison there has been mass rioting, his pending...execution...seeming to have riled up the prisoners. We are positive that they will attempt to break out of the prison in order to save him, and that if that happens it would be terrible news for the villagers." Hisaki scowled, his thumb and forefinger moving up to his forehead as he thought of the situation. He could understand why the ANBU agent hadn't wanted to say this in front of his daughter, and he sighed softly.

"Are you able to get agents there to stop it?"

"Lord Hokage, with all due respect, if I could get agents there to stop it I wouldn't be here bothering you. All of our agents are out looking for information on the Missing Ninja Mitsuo, and our resources are a little bit spread thin. We were hoping you would be able to do something, or at least send someone, maybe one of your sisters?" Hisaki looked over at Storm, and then to Aiko, biting his lower lip slightly as he contemplated what his next move would be. Aiko was a chuunin, which meant she knew what she was doing, but as his daughter he would always be nervous about taking her out on any missions. He didn't want to see any harm come of her, but he also knew that it would be good experience to go and take these people out.

"I will take care of it Miyoko, no need to worry. You are dismissed." She bowed and disappeared, Hisaki's gaze turning towards Aiko. "Well, it looks like I'm being asked to do a job...But maybe you could come with me? As long as I'm there and Storm, we can take care of you. I wouldn't bring Hoshi, of course, but I'm sure Da' wouldn't mind taking care of him for a bit..." He wasn't sure what she would say, but if she wanted to come the offer was on the table, and if not he had no doubt he could handle this mission by himself...

PostSubject: Re: It's Not How It Looks! [Open]   It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Icon_minitimeSat Nov 26, 2016 9:35 am

Her father liked the name Hoshi as well and so she figured that that settled things: Hoshi would be the little wolf pup’s name now and forever. She placed a kiss on the pup’s head and gave it a gentle scratch behind the ears before glancing toward the door at her father’s words: Miyoko was apparently standing outside of the doors. Aiko turned her attention to the pup in her arms once more, petting him and scratching under his chin, while she felt herself swelling a little with pride as her father told Miyoko that she could speak in front of Aiko.

The situation that then unfolded to her young ears had a small frown sneaking up on her face; Hoshi who was quickly beginning to pick up on Aiko’s emotions stilled and gave a soft and curious sounding whine while the pup tipped its head to the side before licking at the underside of Aiko’s chin – he was attempting to make her happy like she had been moments ago instead of this serious nature she had taken on. Her mood wouldn’t be shifted so easily though because from what she was hearing someone had been imprisoned, and they were sentenced to die for whatever crime they had committed. This was causing the other prisoners to act out; riots were happening. To make matters worse the issue couldn’t be stopped so easily due to the lack of able bodied people since so many were busy handling another matter. Her father said that he would take care of it, and then looked to be contemplating how. Aiko looked toward her father, cocking her head to the side while wondering how he planned to handle things: the pup still licking at her chin.

After Miyoko was dismissed Aiko shifted her attention to the pup once more and planted a kiss on his nose before placing him down next to her on the floor so he could run around and explore: of course he stayed exactly by her side though instead of doing so. At her father’s words though her attention shifted back to her father and curiosity filled her gaze. She could go with? She could help? So far Aiko had been doing simple missions and jobs: the easy stuff that Genin and Chuunin went on. That wasn’t to say she couldn’t handle something on a bigger scale: both of her parents, as well as the rest of her family, trained her very well for situations such as this. A smile formed across her face and she nodded her head several times. ”Sure I’ll come and help!”, she responded verbally before looking down at Hoshi who was staring up at her. ”You’ll have to stay with Da’ where it’s safe….” The pup whined instantly of course, standing up on its back legs and placing its front paws on Aiko’s leg. ”I know you want to come...” Aiko responded as she knelt down next to the pup, looking the adorable wolf in its eyes. ”… but you have to become big and strong first, or else you could get hurt. Don’t worry, I’ll help you get there… then you’ll be able to come with me on missions and stuff.” The pup seemed pleased with this, and ran around Aiko in a circle before running a lap around the office itself in excitement. Aiko just giggled and stood back up, smiling once more.

PostSubject: Re: It's Not How It Looks! [Open]   It's Not How It Looks! [Open] Icon_minitimeSun Nov 27, 2016 2:27 pm

Late lunch? It's never late when it's lunch, even lanky bastards like him had an appetite to rival the Akimichi, so food was always a welcome treat. Even more so when it was a surprise; he was pretty damn sure that he was about to find one or more of his favorite people in the old office; there where usually a few family members hanging out there, or at least a gaggle or two pf the pack dogs, so there'd be someone to split the giant box of various treats he was hauling along in his arms. The various gently steaming containers hanging from both wrists where filled with enough tea and coffee to make anyone happy for a few hours, so there was a nice set up for a little impromptu office picnic. Or an excuse to play hooky for a bit. Either way would be amazing fun and worth the time he spent waiting in line and intimidating people to hurry their slow selves up; the little shop he'd hit up was amazing for it's food, but absolute shit for it's service. Not a problem for an empath, let alone someone with his... standing, among the villagers; so he really only had to wait about an hour to get things done, and done correctly.

Walking through the admin areas was simple enough; he knew the place better than anyone but the builders, and that was a debatable point at this point; he'd be raised in this place, he knew every nook and cranny better than they knew themselves, ever passage and secret was like an old friends he just needed to take a few moments to visit once again. Navigating wasn't a problem, no one dared to come anywhere near him when he didn't want them too; all he had to do was project a bubble of 'don't touch me' and everything moved a few inches away from him, allowing for clear and easy travel through the crowded areas and into the restricted zones where only certain ninja where normally allowed. A sort of safe zone buffer that existed around the 'main' offices; where the Hokage and their assistants where supposed to be. Also nearly 3 floors below where the office actually was; but that was just because his Father hadn't liked the old office, and wanted his own; so he'd made himself a nice space out of a couple of unused offices a few floors up. Given how dynastical the Hokage office had become, none of them had bothered to move it, nor did any of them care. A place of family and love was better to exist in for days on end anyway.

Voice of people he very much liked met him in the hallways, Inuzuka had ears on them, and he was nothing if not an Inuzuka, even if he was more Kamizuki than Inuzuka most of the time. Still, ears. He had them. The doors would swing without him even needing to touch them, he's was part of this place and none of the seals or protections placed upon this place would respond with hostility to him. He belong here, same as the male who's office this was now; the person who Hiroyuki would never grow tired of spending time with. That the young child in the room at the time happened to be the other person he was always up to spending all of the time with just made this even better. "I see I'm right on time, then." He's was purposefully ignoring the taste of old strife and emotion in the air; he'd be filled in eventually, and he was fine with that. "Do we have time for food, or where you on your way out?"

Hisaki didn't even have to activate sensory to feel this one coming. Whenever he was anywhere near this person he instantly felt happy and his chakra and aura were both completely calm. It was amazing what effects one person could have on you, and as he felt Hiroyuki walking towards his office, he couldn't help but to smile. He was happy that his daughter was going to accompany him on his mission, but they would be going tomorrow anyway, or perhaps this evening if they had time, and he had spent all day working anyway. He had a little bit of time to spend with his two favorite people, and when the door swung opened and Hiroyuki was standing there, the young Hyuga felt like nothing else could be important enough for him to leave right now.

Hiro was asking if they had time for food, which of course Hisaki didn't believe it was possible to answer no to such a question, especially if it was with his family. Storm's ears perked up at the mention of food as well, and he sauntererd over to meet Hiroyuki, nudging against him and sniffing for the food he had heard so much about. Hisaki just chuckled. "Storm, leave him alone, I"ve got some food for you over here." He smirked at the wolf and walked over to the slimmer shinobi, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him close. "You know, Hiro, I was just thinking food would be a good idea." He had been a little stressed out over the thought of having to talk to the kid's parents and dealing with the mission that all of his people seemed to be too busy to do, but this was just the break he needed.

He watched as Storm wandered back over towards Hisaki's couch and laid down, Hisaki shaking his head. He liked the idea of having a couch in his office, but he also couldn't help but notice that Storm was pretty much the only one who ever used it, as he spent a lot of his time bored laying down on it. One of the unfortunate things about being the Hokage was that the paperwork always seemed to be more important that pretty well anything else. He wanted to go on adventures like he did when he was just a Jounin, him and Hiro doing missions and training together, but now he was too busy for the most part. He missed the fun and the danger. He would take a seat at his desk, the other two seats in his office also very comfortable as he had them brought in after he became Hokage in case his family came to visit...

Suddenly doors were opening again only this time Aiko didn’t have to look back to know who it was: if his scent alone hadn’t given him away the mental feel of him would do the trick. In fact, Aiko tended to know people quicker depending on how they felt mentally than relying on any of her senses. A grin immediately spread across her face and Hoshi, who had been about to do another lap around the room, suddenly rushed over and stood in a protective like stance in front of Aiko. This of course caused her to giggle considering the sheer difference in size between the wolf and her Da’, so she simply scooped up the pup in her arms and hugged him gently. ”That’s my Da’ silly… No growling at him.”

The pup gave a rather slobbery response to this by licking at Aiko’s chin. Giggling again she looked to her two father’s and then to the food as her stomach let out a growl: not only was she breathing fine today but apparently her appetite – so craptastic most days – actually existed today. She was on a roll with this ‘being healthy’ thing apparently.

However, her own hunger caused her to pause rather than speak about food. She glanced at the pup and then at her Daddy and Da’. ”What… do baby wolves eat?”, she would ask curiously and verbally, suddenly concerned she might not have the proper food available to keep Hoshi from starving – concerned enough that she skipped over her usual telepathy. Hoshi, meanwhile, became very content with lightly nibbling on her finger; switching between nibbling and licking periodically. Aiko though kept her gaze glued onto her Da’ and Daddy as she waited for a response; concern lining her face quite well and giving her a look far beyond her years – as if she had grown twenty years in twenty seconds.

"Just about anything, really. Mostly meat, but you can feed them just about any protein so long as it's not soy based. " He was an Inuzuka, growling dogs, licking dogs, dogs and canines in general, they where background noise to him in a way that meant that he could give his absolute attention where needed, while still dealing with them appropriately. With that said, he merely turned and stared into the young pup's eyes, his own hair seeming to fluff up and grow wilder for a moment before a soft growling sound filled the room. It was very low and very quiet, the kind of noise you needed keen ears to pick up; but it could almost be felt. Given he was an alpha by birthright, even if he wasn't at the moment, he was going to win this little contest of dominance, so when the pup looked away and deflated for a moment, he merely relaxed entirely and after moving some things around a bit, reached over to scratch the youngling's ears in a soothing manner that would instantly make them friends. "We can give him some of what I've got here, there's a few smoked fish and a bit of jerky for later in one of the containers. There's tea and coffee as well; and some sugar biscuits in the paper bundle. The rest is rice and veggie rolls and the like. Plenty for a nice, filling lunch."

He flopped onto the desk, managing to do so in a way that didn't disturb any of the paperwork, nor the food, sprawling across the massive thing; starting to unpack bundles of rolls and rice balls and containers full of various meats and such in various states of cooked. "So what're the plans for today, hm? Missions? Training? Vanishing from work and letting Da' handle it for you?"

Hisaki chuckled as he watched Hiroyuki get the young pup to back off, the show of dominanace quickly fading from him as Hiroyuki didn't back down from him. He stil found the Inuzuka quite fascinating after knowing him for as long as they had known one another, something that he certainly was happy about. Their life never really got boring, as there was always some new interesting thing that Hisaki would always see his lover do. He heard Hiro list off the kinds of food he had brought, watching as he would flop onto the desk, the action making Hisaki slightly nervous, although he somehow managed not to knock anything down when he did so. It was impressive what grace someone could fall onto a slab of lumber with a bunch of food, and Hiroyuki never seemed to fail to impress Hisaki when it came to things like that.

He would smile down at Hiro, running his fingers through his hair before looking towards what he had brought. "You really came prepared didn't you?" He would take a bit of everything onto a plate, thanking Hiro before he took a bite and continued to speak. "I think the plan is to prepare for a mission tomorrow. I've had a lot of paperwork for some reason, lots of missions coming through and people requesting help for simple tasks...Vanishing from work does sound like it would be fun. Storm could use the exercise, he's been cooked up in here with me all week and we're both getting a little bit antsy I think." He looked over to the wolf laying on the couch, his ears perking up at the suggestion of getting out of the office for a while. Hisaki felt bad for him, and a little bit for himself. He knew that he would be busy, and there was a good chance that he would be stuck in this office quite a bit, but he didn't know just how much.

"Otherwise, I have no real plans for today. How about you? What exciting things have you been up to?"
