General Description: Shidobu stands as a normal looking boy of his age. He has dark brown hair, with its length being relatively short, as well as eyes of the same color. His face appears as normal and arguably even fairly attractive, yet what immediately stands out is a scar initiating near his nose, crossing the right side of his mouth and going almost towards the end of his chin. Nevertheless, seeing as how he is constantly hiding himself under his clothes, these facial attributes are rare to witness.

Speaking of which, under his characteristic robe also lays an actually impressive trained body, honed due to his ever-lasting long years of dedication towards the arts of Taijutsu and overall intense physical regime. He's also accumulated a scar here and there over the years, but nothing majorly distracting. When in ninja related activity, Shidobu usually wears the robe with the beaked hood already presented, with his Iwagakure headband being used on his waist as a belt of sorts. Out of such activities and during his everyday doings, though, he tends to use long jackets and shorts, the former also constantly having beaked hoods through which he hides himself.



Personality: Shidobu is a very calm and collected individual, preferring to keep to himself most of the time while secretly planning out his next move with throughout certainty. He values brain over heart, and chooses to live under such a thought, which sometimes can earn him the reputation of being cold and distant. In the field of battle, he will think of nothing but his mission, and the means to achieve his goals, as staying one step ahead is a constant priority. Attempting to influence him through words will always result in failure, for he won't show any type of reaction, nor will he feel it, unless it's a revelation that truly comes off as shocking.

Nevertheless, under this tough exterior lies a good heart, as he views injustice and abuse with hate, and even has a soft spot for the innocent. Not that he will ever allow this to be known, but an outside witness may eventually catch up on it. Shidobu is also capable of having friends and acquaintances, though he'll always be certain of whether or not you're legitimately attempting to befriend him or it is all for the sake of second intentions.

Likes: A job well done; as he is an analytic individual, one constantly thinking ahead in order to strive for success, Shidobu likes to see his efforts pay off, as this allows him to feel better with himself and know that he can be always relied upon. Speaking of which, his reputation is something he also enjoys keeping care of, as he'd rather be seen as a perfect example of a Shinobi than an incompetent fool. Then again, he is capable of compromising this same image of himself if it is for the sake of ending needless cruelty inflicted upon those without a choice. Finally, comes an appreciation that may not be a surprise to any; bees. Being a proud Kamizuru member, and having relied upon these very insects for protection, aid, and even survival for countless years, he's grown fond of them, and now has a particular admiration for them, even if not obsessive and just in the form of an healthy hobby.

Dislikes: As mentioned before, Shidobu heavily dislikes injustice and evil acts of the like. Even if he will not appear to be shaken up by them at all, he will still attempt to prevent them if such a thing is in his power. Next up in the list would probably be incompetence; or in other terms, those who do not take their jobs or tasks seriously, such as reckless Shinobi, seeing as how Shidobu attempts to have himself be a disciplined soldier, he expects to see the same in others. And finally, he does tend to get hilariously annoyed and irritated when someone criticizes his bugs and his overall fighting style with them; though he will refrain from having this happen when in serious situations. Then, there is also the Aburame clan. With the entire Kamizuru clan having a long history of rivalry and consequent misfortune due to their encounters with them, Shidobu has too formed a negative stereotype about the bug users, even if a much softer one compared to rest of the Kamizuru members.

Motivations: Shidobu is mainly motivated to become a respectable Iwagakure Shinobi due to the immense desire and need to honor the Kamizuru clan, which has long been absent of value at the eyes of the village. He seeks to bring it back to the formidable position it once had, and finally be once again regarded as one of Iwagakure's most finest and best capable forces. On the other hand, Shidobu also seeks to prove himself as a proud Kamizuru member in the eyes of his family, as this has been so often questioned by them in an amount of not so subtle ways. And of course, his loyalty to the village is also a strong motivator to his duties.

Fears: A large part of Shidobu's fears lies on failing in what motivates him; in other words, failing in his duties as a Shinobi and consequently bring further bad fame and reputation to his clan and himself. Becoming useless and unable to fight, protect, and do the duties that are expected of him is also dreaded. And then, of course, there's the fears that a common man typically has, such as witnessing friends and comrades fall, the death of loved ones, the destruction of the village, and other dreads of the sort.

History: Shidobu was born as a typical member of the Kamizuru clan, in the village of Iwagakure. His entire family, being under a life of harsh reputation and status due to their large loss at the hands of Konoha's Aburame clan years ago, had high hopes for the boy, believing him to be the upcoming member that would rise to success and fame, and bring the entire clan back on track. Though what this also meant, is that the constant discipline and training that Shidobu was forced to endure daily, would be a tough, tiring, and sometimes outright cruel one. With the years passing, he obviously began to grow in power with each passing day of unstoppable preparation regime, though he also continuously grew as distant and emotionally separated from the rest of his family and clan, transforming from a normal youngster into a much colder version of himself.

When he reached the young age of just 6, things began to turn even more for the worse. His father, an old, sickly man, yet the one mostly to blame for the enormous responsibility placed on Shidobu, grew even more worried and paranoid after witnessing his son's loss when facing a Genin. Believing the toddler to be physically unprepared, the elder started to apply heavy dosages of physical punishment as part of his training, a tradition that carried on throughout the years.

With the young boy's anger ever growing, one day he snapped at his father in the middle of one of his training sessions. Without not even as much as a warning, or a threat, the elder grabbed a nearby rock, throwing it with great force at his own son. The rock managed to hit the boy in the face, causing a grievous wound that would scar him for life. The elder would never resent this action afterwards, a fact that convinced Shidobu to always control his emotions from then on, and not the other way around.

Further years passed, and who was once a boy turned into a young man, still as equally distant from his family as ever. With age no longer a problem, Shidobu was now fully ready to get his Genin headband, only days away from the graduation day. Such a short time period, however, meant that his clan was severely paranoid about whether or not he'd succeed, a thing that did not concern the youngster at all. His father, now extremely sick due to an heart disease, was said to be awaiting death, yet continued as bitter and pressing towards his son as always. Finally, one day, Shidobu once again let his own native anger get the best of him, and actually slapped the elder, bringing him to the floor. The latter, shocked over the fact, quickly backed away from the youngster, and did not dare to speak any further word towards him. It was that very same night, however, that it was discovered that he had passed away in his sleep.

Shidobu did not show any type of reaction towards this. He believed himself to feel nothing, yet others thought otherwise. Nevertheless, the boy went on to graduate from the Academy as normal, and become a proud Genin. Having long learned to put his past behind him, all that he's awaiting is the future.

RP Sample: It was late at night, and darkness had long invaded the forest through which Shidobu was running through. He had been tasked with scouting the nearby village, and the duty done successfully, he was now on his way back. However, it seemed this part of the trip was beginning to feel more confusing than the first one, as soon Shidobu was starting to feel as if he had lost his sense of direction, and was now lost.

He wandered and wandered for what seemed like hours, but he was not losing his cool. His fatigue was beginning to take the best of him, though, as his eyes were struggling to remain open. As he approached a nearby tree, he turned around and sat next to it. He shut off his vision, hoping to let his eyes rest for a little while.

Suddenly, he wakes up. A warmth is moving towards him. "What are you doing in my swamp?" The creature speaks in a soft voice, as it approaches him. "Of course." Shidobu thought, "It's Shrek."

Hiya friend! Everything here checks out except for one little thing; you cannot start off with any combat based special characteristics (excluding sensory), and therefore I'm going to have to ask you to remove the SC Enchanced Reflexes and train it through your jutsu registration at a later date.

On a side note, while I talked with a few other staff members, you can start with Ninjutsu and Tai (as they're part of the three specialties allowed for your clan), but that severely limits your clan abilities as you won't be able to take any of the Summoning abilities and therefore likely aren't doing much with your bees. Just wanted to make you sure you were aware.
