  Description: Nekos have naturally advanced strength, speed and perception (All nekos start with C-1 SPD, STR and PER). They have an advanced sense of smell. Nekos have natural padding on their hands feet which make their movements silent when crawling or running, and retractable claws on both hands and feet that do damage +1 above their current rank. They have mastery of balance, usually able to correct themselves in mid-air if falling so that they land on their feet, so long as it isn't from too great a height. Nekos are very flexible and limber. They can contact their muscles and bones to squeeze through tight spaces that would be impossible for humans.

General Description: Cheshire is a wanderer and quite strange: both of which show easily enough with her usual attire. She is quite small for her age, standing at only four feet and eight inches tall. She has a thin build and weighs in at only eighty pounds. Her skin is lightly tanned which causes yellow eyes to stand out all that much more. Her hair is white in color, the longer portion of it going halfway down her back and usually held back in a ponytail at the base of her neck. Though normally hidden within her clothing Cheshire has two white and fairly large cat-like ears, and a fluffy white cat-like tail normally kept wrapped around her waist and hidden beneath her jacket.

Her attire consists of a lot of tan lined with yellow. A tan hand-sewn hat that is specially made to have room for her cat-like ears covers the majority of her head and hides some of the shorter pieces of her white colored hair; though the long pieces including her ponytail are still able to be seen. Goggles with yellow tinted lenses are often kept at the top of her head, their purpose to protect her eyes during sandstorms or overly bright environments.

To cover her B-cup breasts she wears a white tank top cut halfway across the middle to show off the rest of her taught belly. A tan jacket with yellow lining is often worn over top of her shirt, though kept unbuttoned the majority of the time, with sleeves long enough to easily go to her fingertips. Tan pants help to complete this look which have zippers right around the knees which allow them to turn into shorts in hotter climates. Boots, specially made with a wider toe area to make room for her non-human feet, are likewise tan like the rest of her outfit: the sides of the boots folded down for comfort, and the yellow laces tied neatly.

To complete this look a set of gloves hand-sewn like her hat to help hide her 'differences' are worn on her hands, tan in color, with little slits to allow for her claws when they're engaged. Finally a blue tinted collar is worn around her neck, quite large, with a big buckle; the purpose of this collar once which Cheshire rarely speaks of.



Personality: Cheshire is quite an odd cookie; though most would probably prefer the term ‘loony’. She sees things differently than most people, thinking outside of the box the majority of the time.

Her general way of doing things screams feline. She’s playful and easily distracted by stringy-things and shiny objects. She can be playful and cuddly one moment and wanting to be left alone the next. She loves lazing around in the sun, but also enjoys going on a good and lung hunt: chasing down prey.

Generally speaking though Cheshire is a friendly individual, and quite kind. She’s helpful, and will normally go out of her way for people whether she knows them or not. She’s very protective of the innocent, especially her sister, to the point of physical violence if needed.

History: Cheshire had a fairly decent sized family; three brothers and a younger sister. Her mother and father were kind, loving, and supportive of not only herself but all of her siblings, too. Her mother was a seamstress and her father was a merchant; the pair normally working together with her mother making the items that her father sold. From a young age Cheshire spent her days learning both her mother’s trade and her father’s. She spent the evenings learning how to sew and make beautiful clothing and the mornings helping her father mind the stall they had in the market. Her afternoons were spent normally chasing after her brothers – all three wanted to be shinobi and they spent a lot of time training, though often choosing to exclude their ‘little sister’. Still, that didn’t little to stop Cheshire from watching them and then training on her own.

With her busy yet comfortable life the days flew by; turning into weeks, months, and years. However, all of this came crashing down around her one day when she went out with her younger sister to gather berries for the dyes her mother wanted to make. The markets supply hadn’t been good enough for the expensive cloth her mother wanted to dye so she had sent Cheshire and her little sister Jinx out to the nearby forests to hunt for some perfect ones. It was a task that had taken all day; the sun already having begun to set as they returned home. Even before they reached the village they knew something was wrong: smoke was pluming into the air, and most buildings that weren’t on fire had already burned to ash. Cheshire, with her sister in tow, raced to their home only to find the bodies of not only their parents but their brothers. Everything in the house had been destroyed by the fire, and outside of a small bit of money there was nothing work taking or trying to save.

The pair fled in fear for their own lives, unaware of what had happened or who had been behind such an attack – though they definitely had their guesses. Cheshire decided it wasn’t safe for them to stick around in one location for too long and so the pair moved from village to village as means to keep themselves from becoming too familiar with any one person. Cheshire took on odd jobs during the day when she could find them to support herself and her sister, or when she couldn’t find work took to stealing to survive: taking only what was needed such as food or warm clothing. On several occasions Cheshire had to prove her worth or hold her own to protect herself and her sister against creeps and criminals, using the skills she had self taught herself after watching her brothers.
